Finally, and it's Friday too.

Sean spent the past seven nights, hours at a time, helping me, long distance, to get my computer virus free, and back online.  I still have to do one more thing, but I'm finally back on my laptop.

Lots to tell, and too tired to tell it.  I'll be back in the morning.

Prayers and love,

Trish

Good Morning,

My Sean is the best free computer tech.  He spent countless hours researching how to fix my computer for seven straight nights.  I can't tell you all the details, but it was a nightmare for both of us.  I still have one more thing to do with it, but I'm able to post and browse.

On Sunday night, Izzy and Lincoln were in the Christmas program at church.  Izzy was an angel, and Lincoln was a shepherd.  They each had a line, and I was so proud I had tears in my eyes.  It was so cute too.  Lincoln's best friend at church was supposed to stand next to him, but was dancing around, mostly in front of him.  Lincoln kept pushing him back.  I thought it was funny, coz he wouldn't let anyone upstage him no matter what.  It's in his blood.  I need to get him an extra big Christmas present.  He wants a good stand mixer.  I only want to get him a KitchenAid, the best.  They are not in the price range I normally spend for each of my kids.  I told him I would find him one, but his gift may be late.  I was going to find him a used one, but since he saved me hundreds on this computer repair, I'll get him a new one.  I did send him a package of his childhood ornaments in the meantime.  I gave Colleen and Chris their ornaments when they got married, but gave up waiting for Sean to do that, since he can barely support himself.  So, while I was decorating my tree, I set aside his.  I wrapped the fragile ones in tissue paper, and packed them all up.  He got them Wednesday.

I spent yesterday at Colleen's watching Frankie.  She helped with two parties at the kids' school, and also went to Jaiden's funeral.  She said our church was packed.  It seats about 450, and there wasn't an empty seat in the place.

I was supposed to watch kids for Bible study, but two of the four Moms cancelled.  So, the other two cancelled as well.  Sick kids can throw a monkey wrench into plans for Moms.  This afternoon, Colleen, Frankie and I are going to a sing-along at the kids' school.

I have kept up with the happenings here, and been praying for Butch, Judy's Mom, Eileen's cold, and Connie's health.

I love and cherish everyone here.  I have tons to do, and am so glad most everything is done on my puter.

Love,

Trish

Trish...we posted at the same time!!!

Th Christmas program sounds like it was so fun!! Good for Lincoln standing his ground....kids can be so funny!!

You had me confused you were mentioning Lincoln and then started saying he needed an extra big Christmas gift...a stand mixer. I couldn't figure out why Lincoln would want a stand mixer at his age. Then I realized you were talking about Sean. Read the post over...you will get a giggle out of it!!

That will be a great gift for Sean!! I think it is great that you gave your family their Christmas ornaments. I am sure Sean was pleased. I should do that when we get to my other storage and clean it out.

Refresh my memory who is Jaiden? My memory is so bad.

Enjoy your computer....so glad you have it back!!!

Love you....HUGS....connie d

Sorry for the confusion about Lincoln and Sean.  Oops.  I sometimes do that.

I have to post something later.

Hugs,

Trish

Hi Trish and my OFF family:

Good to see you again, Trish. A Kitchen-Aid mixer is a wonderful gift. You might look on eBay; sometimes they have bargains. I love my Kitchen-Aid mixer.

Vickie, you need to rest. Your cold is brought on by stress. You're doing too much for everyone else.

We had a nice potluck at work last night. The ham was great and there were plenty of sides. I felt crappy all night but muddled through ... coughed and blew my nose all night. I started out feeling OK, but as the night progressed I felt worse. This morning is no better, plus I woke up at 7 a.m. and couldn't get back to sleep.

I'll try to take a nap before work.

Well, not much else happening here. Back to work later tonight. Have a good day.

Hi Eileen....So sorry you are feeling worse....might be time to go in again or to the ER. It  sounds bad!!

I am glad the pot luck was good. I just wish you would have felt better to enjoy it more.

I hope you can make it through work tonight. If you got that nap it might have helped.

Sending healing prayers.

Love and Hugs.....connie d

Connie, I got a good 45-minute nap in before work and feel better, although not great. No, it's not worth going to the ER. I'm still taking the antibiotics. If after they're done I still feel crappy, I'll go see the doctor again. I just had too much coughing and then didn't sleep well.

Yes, I can, but I have prescription codeine cough medicine, the good stuff, and just a little does it. I don't want to take Nyquil during the day at work because it will make me too drowsy. I'm having enough problems staying awake.
