Eileen...you got ripped again!! They could have done better and at least had a pot luck. That just isn't right. You work so hard!!

It is sad that you had five people retiring now. That seems like a lot at one time!! 

Did you get your photo with Santa??? I hope so!! You could have sat on his lap, both of you holding up some beer!! I know I am a little different and very silly!!

No, no photo with Santa (he's our photo editor, now retired). Didn't even have a beer because I was working. The newsroom usually has a potluck, but last year it was on a Wednesday and I was off, didn't want to come in just for that. 

Yeah, we'll miss those folks. It was give these people early retirement buyouts or lay people off. They are hiring to fill some of the spots (because we are bare bones).
