Monday morning
Well, good morning my sistas!
I've been trying to log on to OFF for the past 24 hours with no success. Then, boom, here it is this morning. Very strange.
So I thought I'd better write while I have a connection. How is everyone today? I didn't take the time to read yesterday's posts yet, so I'm not sure what might be going on.
Butch had a very uncomfortable weekend--lots of pain in his joints, especially his left shoulder and right hip (where there are tumors)--but he says he feels a bit better this morning. I was going to call MDAnderson this morning about us going down there for a visit, but now he says to wait another day. See how today goes before calling. Well, I dunno. It's his body and his pain--I can't tell him what to do. Nor can I tell just how well or how badly he feels. I just have to depend on what he tells me.
We kept the boys yesterday and boy, is my back sore this morning! Lugging those two little monkeys around is a joy, but it does a number on my back. I know Benny is four, but he still wants to be held and cuddled. When he asks to be lifted up, I just don't have the heart to say no. And Budder weighs almost as much as Benny does! Quite the workout!
PT is coming this morning, and then we have to make a run into town. We have to pick up Butch's pain pills and I'm almost out of dog food. We buy it at the feed store, so I can't just pick it up at the grocery store. I also need to make stops at the Dollar store and at the grocery store. And we need to talk to our realtor today.
So the home inspection on the new house showed some pretty severe problems with the roof. We are asking the sellers to either replace the roof or give us a $5000 allowance on the price so that we can fix the roof ourselves. Either way, it's going to cost them and you never know how they will respond to that. But--and here's the kicker--they're going to have to address the roof problems whether they sell to us or to someone else. I hope they have the sense to realize that. We'll see. We also need to schedule an inspection of the septic tank for this week and Butch says we need to be there for that one. Our 10-day grace period will end this week and we need to have answers to all of these problems before then.
Well, I'd better hop in the shower before PT arrives. Lots to do today. I hope everyone is doing well. Judy, I'm praying for your sister!

Vic...quick stop in right now...Prayers for you and Butch...hope he is OK...maybe just over did it with the trip and all??? Hope so...Prayers continue!!! That house has some troubles...omg...hope those people will help you out!!! Good Grief!!!

Vickie....I hope they get the roof done for you...I pray nothing else is wrong. A septic tank and all the digging will be very expensive if it has to be replaced. You are doing the right thing by having a good inspection done.
I am glad Butch is feeling a little better today. I know it is hard for him to admit when he is not feeling well. He must have been in a lot of pain!! Prayers for him as well.
I hope Christie and Mike don't continue too need you as babysitters on the weekends. It really is too much work for you right now. But then you do want to see them when you can too. Hard decision to make!
As for me.....Carrie came about 10:30 this morning. Amanda and Tyler never did get here. When Tyler's mom is involved you can never plan to be on time. She said to stop and visit her Aunt for 1/2 hour....last time she did that she visited 3 1/2 hours. They didn't get here at all this trip. It was a 4 hour visit with her Aunt....she was making no sign of leaving at all. Amanda and Tyler weren't happy! I told them to just head home when she was finished. Tyler works in the morning at 6AM. She goes back to her home in Idaho tomorrow!!! They can come and visit any other day without her!!!
I am in horrible pain again today. I am going to bed early. My everything hurts!!! Damn weather changes again!!

Getting on here late because I got up late this morning. I'm in a holding pattern because I'm waiting for stories. Got everything done that was available so now I wait.
Well, your sellers will have to do something with the house because no matter what it will not sell with major problems. Any inspector is going to find them. As for Butch's pain, too many men seem to suck it up and don't want to admit to how much pain they're in (my dad was like that). Sometimes you just have to push them to get treatment.
Not much going on here. I was finishing my lunch today when that troublesome crown in the upper rear popped off again. It was too late to get it reattached today, so I made an appointment for tomorrow when I'm off. That will be the only thing I have to do, although I may make a couple of other stops after. Then it's home and put up the Christmas stuff.
