Good Monday Morning....what's new with you?
Good early morning everyone.....
It is about 3:00 AM and I can't sleep. I hate nights like this! I have tried everything and nothing is working. I don't have anything I need to get done today. I should be able to nap at some point. 
It is 4 degrees and with the windchill it is -20. Our high today will be 4 degrees. I am glad I am staying in today....BRRRRRR!!!! 
I will check in later. I am going to try reading again. Maybe it will make me sleepy this time.

I wish I was staying in today. I am absolutely DREADING the long car drive to Nacogdoches with my mom and Butch today. OMG. I'd better double up on the prozac! Neither one of them can hear worth a darn, so any conversation consists of me shouting at them and repeating things over and over again. It's going to be crazy.
I've been up and doing a bit more Cyber Monday Christmas shopping this morning. I ordered the trampoline from Sam's Club for the boys and it's being delivered to Christie's house. I also broke down and ordered myself a Kindle Fire tablet. Butch keeps insisting that I need a tablet, and man, were they ever having the deals on them today. SO FINE. I ordered one. Not convinced I really need a tablet, but it's what he wants me to have.
I got most of our stuff packed up last night, so I don't have too much left to do this morning. Butch now says we are staying the whole week and coming back on Saturday. Oookaaay. Whatever. I'm just along for the ride. At least I have a washer/dryer at the other lakehouse and I don't have to pack so many clothes. I'm not sure what we're going to do there for a whole week, but I'll take my crochet with me. Between my crochet and my books, I'll be happy. But I won't have wifi, so don't be concerned if you don't hear much from me this week. I'll read on my phone, but won't try to post much. It's too hard.
Maybelle is being an absolute PILL these days! She gets into EVERYTHING! If there's a plastic bag, she assumes there is food in it! She gets into every single trash can, she gets up on the table, she got into my makeup bag even! I've never seen such a little scavenger! You would think I don't feed her everyday. LOL!
Still don't know what I'm going to do about my UPS delivery today. Need to talk to one of my neighbors before we leave. And we haven't heard a word back from the sellers yet. This is the strangest deal we've ever had buying a house.
Well, I'd better get hoppin'! Too much going on today. Love you all!

Hi Vickie....wear a headset and listen to a book or something on the drive....tune them out ....poor Vickie!!! You won't have a voice left by the time you get where you are going!!!
I am still hoping to get a tablet. My computer is working fine now so I don't really need one. I would just like one...LOL!! I think it would be so convenient to use. I hate sitting at this desk all the time. I think you will enjoy having one too. Easier to carry around then a laptop for everything. Let me know what you think about it??
Wow...you are a fast packer!! I hope you remembered everything. It is nice that you can wash clothes there and not have to bring so many clothes with!
So Maybelle is being a little stinker huh? She sounds like a real handful. Good luck ....I hope she gets over that soon.

I hope your neighbors can help you out with the packages. I am sure they wouldn't mind.

Afternoon OFF family!!!!
OMG have I been BUSY this morning!!!! OMG!!!!! But I am PROUD of myself!!!! WOW!!! I did TWO move outs...did a Lease also!!! WOOHOOO!!!!!!! AND...I got them ALL sent in all by MYSELF!!! No help at all!!!! 
Yes I am so proud of myself!!! Wait til Holly comes back tomorrow and sees what I did without her or anyone else!!! 
Found out about the two tenants that had the squad here over the weekend...the guy is in intensive care and has bleeding in his chest someplace...the woman had some problems not knowing where she was or whose furniture was in her apartment...they transported her to another hospital for further testing...possible stroke??? Not sure about her arm bleeding yet...her friend that stopped in to let me know she is there to clean and care for the cat...said nothing was wrong with her arm...yeah ok.
So having a blast here today...lol Got one of the tenants passing out the newsletter for me...glad he can help!!! OMG I am just so darn busy today!!! The lease wasn't supposed to happen til 4...he shows up at 9:10...OMG!!!!!!!! We had power out last night for about an hour...guess who had to get PC up and running this morning along with everything else?? Oh yeah fun fun fun!!!!! Floor is all full of salt from tenants tracking it in over the weekend...grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr guess they don't know how to wipe their feet off??? So more work for me to do today!!!
See my other tenant is moving out today...she had until end of this month...gosh going to miss her so much!!!! 
We always had so much fun when she came to Bingo and the other festivities. She said its time to go into assisted living...being 91 its time. She is afraid now to be alone.
Well best get back to work...Bandit's potty walk first...LOL

Hi Judy....I was up until after 7:30 AM.....I finally slept for four hours then. My day is messed up!
It is just too damn cold here to even think about going outside. It is after 1:15 PM now and we are still at zero degrees. I just checked the windchill, it is -10 degrees. Hey...the sun is shining....that is a plus!!!
I am so proud of you concurring the PC 
....way to go!! Less stress for you and that is a good thing!!
I hope your tenants are okay....good grief it is crazy around there. I am sorry that you will be loosing that sweet little lady. She is right...she needs to have someone helping her at her age. That is what assisted living is for. God Bless her!

Connie...Pat is my Bingo buddy...he is also a PIN (pain in the neck) and also nosey!!! LOL So he likes doing things like that.
That darn PC had me going for so long and NOW that I KNOW how to work it!!!! GEZZZZZZ how stupid of me not to get it before!!! But like I said the ones showing me went so dam FAST!!!!!!!
Do you have some sleepy time tea? that is supposed to help you sleep...ever try it? I hate when I can't sleep!! Last night I was just starting to sleep and the power went out...and here comes Rick to let me know...like I didn't hear the tv go off???? DUH!!!!!!!!!! Then he has the flashlights on and in and out to let me know the whole area is out....he calls Chase and Chase said the whole town is out...here he comes again to let me know...like I care!!! I want to sleep!!!!!!!!! Leave me alone!!! LOL OK I am awake now...GRRRRRRRRRR Power out for an hour. YIPPEEEE. Why? Who knows. Its back on again all I care about.
Truck moved Jean out in an hour...sad...I miss her already. She was an encyclopedia of knowledge here...wow!! She knew a lot of things for this area!!!! She was a retired RN also.

Judy....no I don't have tea....I only like iced tea. My friend here has all kinds of old remedies. She said to wear socks to bed. White socks. If it doesn't help enough she said to rub my legs and feet with BIO FREEZE with the socks. Other ladies here are saying it has worked for them. I will try it out.
Hope your power stays on!!! Winter is the wrong time for power outages!!

Judy...LOL....I will be fine.....I am allergic to something in Vicks....I haven't never been able to use it...even as a child. My twin brother can't either!
