Chilly Monday!

Good morning sistas!

Geez, it was 26 F on my porch this morning!  Colder and colder here!  I don't like it.  Brrr!

So excited!  Meeting the realtor at that new house in Seguin at 2 o'clock today.  Cross your fingers!

We had a really nice birthday party for Butch yesterday.  It was fun and he enjoyed having his family around him so much.  My meal turned out fine and Benny and Budder were so cute!  Good times.

How is everyone else doing today???

Hi Vickie, you are upbeat today despite the cold! Keep it up!

Here we are getting our first snow, about 5 inches for the day with temps at freezing but feeling like 26F. Am glad to be staying inside where it's warm. Feel sorry for people who have to drive in this stuff pas it looks to be whiteout conditions except in the city where roads are wet, everything else is white....a change from yesterday!

Am aching all over like so many of us on here.....some is the 98% humidity with this snow, but also my  cancer med, the bone pain is pretty bad and in my back and wrist. Cant find a comfortable position  sitting or lying, and cant find the recipe for ginger tea plus a pharmacy otc ingredient to relieve the pain. Vickie is right, was on some other site, not here, and I will keep looking for it and if I come across it again, will definitely post it here.

Hope you are all doing better than I am.....don't let Old Man Winter get you down!

Jennifer....I am so sorry you are in such pain. I hope you can get some relief soon. I continue to pray for you every day!

I remember the ginger tea recipe being on Facebook I believe. I will try to find it for you!!

Thanks Connie, any help and all prayers much appreciated.  Sorry you are in a terrible fibrofog as well as pain. I just woke from a 2 hr nap, hope it doesn't mess with my night sleep. Have to get snowtires  put on my car early tomorrow! Think the snow is here to stay and no more putting off the tire change. 

Re the ginger tea recipe, Nancy posted a good version in response to my post a few days ago,  but without the addition of the OTC med from a pharmacy which I encountered in one iof my other surfing trips to  cancer Sites, could have been a website in UK. With the addition, the usual ginger tea (with/without turmeric) becomes a super anti-inflammatory.

Not quite, is missing the OTC additional ingredient from the pharmacy to make it a super anti-inflammatory painkiller....think it was on a UK cancer site I surfed, should have bookmarked...didnt think it would be so hard to find again!

I am sure it was a very happy day yesterday with your wonderful family!!!! Hope to see some pics!!! 

As for me.....I went out about 10:45 AM to go to the bank and send off Gracie's gifts!!! Can you believe she will be 8 tomorrow?? Did time fly!!! 

I am really having a hard time with my thinking. This has taken me a very long time to post. I have been in Fibromyalgia Fogs before but nothing like this. I am getting the keys all wrong!! I pray tomorrow is a much better day!! My balance is way off too....scary!!

I will check back later if I can. This is just wearing me out.
