Hello this cold and Sunday morning!!
Good morning everyone.....
Why is it when I have one really good night sleep I have nights of very little sleep? I slept 3 hours now I am awake. Got up at 2:00 AM...it is almost 4:00 AM now.
Nothing new to report here. It has been snowing off and on. I am not sure how much more we are supposed to get.
Keep warm everyone in the snowy areas.....we are in for a long winter....UGH!!
Vickie....enjoy your family day celebrating Butch's Birthday!!!
Judy....I am glad the floor is completed except where there are issues to fix. That has to be a big relief!! I am still sending prayers and good thoughts your way!!
Trish....slow down and enjoy some time for yourself!! You are always doing so much.
Eileen...I hope your work night went well and your pain is at a minimum.

Connie, I sure hope you are sleeping RIGHT NOW! Hope you were able to go back to sleep. 
I slept all night, but only because I took a PM. So did Carrie. She's still snoozing.
Well, Carrie and I had a lovely day together yesterday! Geez, I miss that girl. She and I drove over to Seguin and looked at that house. OMG! I'm trying really hard to stay calm, but it looks perfect--at least from the outside. It looks just like the pictures did on the internet--which is a miracle in itself. Most of the time when you get there, you realize how misleading the pictures were.
Anyway, she really talked it up to her daddy last night, and now he's just as excited to go see it tomorrow. I just really need to see the inside. There's so much that I HAVE to have in a new house: workable kitchen, big enough bathroom, and closets! Those are the three things missing in THIS house, you know?
Well, tomorrow will come soon enough. And I have plenty to keep me busy today. We are having Butch's birthday party this afternoon. His sister Lisa and her family are driving down from Austin, and of course, Chris and Mike are coming, so I'll have a full house. Butch is already up and has the meat on the smoker. I have to make potato salad and baked beans and strawberry shortcake. AND I have to do a little cleaning around here! (I sound like Trish don't I? 
)
So Carrie brought her two dogs, Molly and Lulu, and it was their first time to meet Maybelle yesterday. Well, Molly is just a big ol' luv, and there was no problem there. But Lulu (who is very aptly named) is a little more feisty. We're not sure what started the fight, but Lulu and Maybelle tied up and then Patty Kate joined in the fray! Oy vey! Carrie and I waded in and tried to separate them. I grabbed PK and Carrie grabbed Lulu and when we pulled them up off the ground, the two dogs were still attached by the teeth! PK would NOT turn loose of Lulu's ear! Crazy.
So that was a fun introduction.
(And no one was injured, thank God. No blood, no scars.)
I fixed crab legs for our supper last night. Yummy! It's Butch and Carrie's favorite meal.
Well, I need to get started. Lots and lots to do before the party.

Hello Vickie....I am glad Carrie went with you to look at the house. It sounds like a dream come true!! I hope the inside is as beautiful as the outside!!
Your Carrie is so good for you and Butch. I can hear the excitement when you speak of her. I know you love Chris and everyone too. It is just hard to explain, one is just different from the other. Not that we don't love them both. I understand it.
I hope the dogs are all settled with each other now. They are just so cute!!! I am glad none were hurt!
As for me...I slept about 4 hours...not nearly enough. I may have to be lazy and nap some today. My body is so fatigued. I will be okay. I just hate when this happens!

Morning OFF family...
It is COLD here and we are now under winter storm watch? I forget if its watch or advisory now...looked at so many weather reports this morning...anyhow my area could see 3-5 inches????? yippee 
not looking forward to this crap at all!!!! Tuesday is the Thanksgiving dinner for the tenants so go figure mother nature WILL do it again to me!!!!!
Went to Close up last night (Rick) and he found the mens room toilet plugged up AGAIN this is the second Saturday this has happened at this club house!!! Guess next week we will have to baby sit all day to see WHO is doing this in there!!!!!!!!!! Not sure IF we can lock these u*****t being government assisted this side. But anyhow Rick has some things moved back into place and its looking pretty nice in there so far. LOTS to go yet putting things away. My heart just isn't into it right now.
Need to go shopping for a gift for my granddaughter and its hard...I am so afraid to go....SIGHS..............
Not much else happening right now. Went to Bingo had some fun. Few chances...no wins...again! Oh well. Going broke...not sure if I will go next week or not. If I go I will go alone. Pat is broke. I will NOT loan him money as he is a compulsive gambler. He owes money to everyone.
OK time for a shower and see how I feel about going out...

Hi Judy....I hope you only get a couple inches of snow and don't get dumped on like we did a week ago. We got another few inches last night....UGH...the snow piles are so high now....and this is just the beginning!!!!
I hope you find the Pig who stopped up the toilet again. That is ridiculous!!

Could you just get a gift card for your granddaughter?? That is all mine want then they get what they really want. I know it isn't as personal, but under the cir****tances it would be okay!!

Connie where we used to live before here man they got dumped on last week!!! omg!!! now its our turn I guess...I hope its not on Tuesday!!!!!!!!! seems like everytime no matter when I plan things mother nature does it to me!!!!!!! witch!!!!!! Couple flakes here and there already falling...yuck!!!!!!
As for the gift...I want to go out and get this for her so bad but so scared....my other one wants a purse...need to find that here yet...don't want o send for it and pay the high postage ya know?

Jo....WOW.... I couldn't do that!! I am so fatigued to the point that I feel sick. The few hours I do get are not good. I toss and turn and constantly am looking at the clock. I am missing that needed REM sleep.
I hope it turns itself back to a good sleep soon.

Judy....I do have very good room darkening curtains in my bedroom. You can't see anything in there!!!
I do turn the clock. It doesn't help. I have to know what time it is. I have been like that all my life. My mom was the same way. I have the light on the clock turned way low too.
My main problem is pain and restless legs. I keep getting woke up. I have a wonderful bed!! I have tried so many things!!
I can't wait until I get my new doctor!!
Sorry that your tenants are so rude. Send them a letter about what constitutes an emergency.Tell them not to contact you on weekends unless they have a emergency. A bag of ice isn't an emergency!!!! Have your boss let them know she is behind you. You and Rick both need time off on weekends!! Good Luck!!!
