Day Seven: Today I am thankful for . . .

Today I am thankful for my (sort-of) son-in-law, Mike.  I have to admit, I had my doubts about him when he and Christie first started dating.  And even more doubts when Reese was born.  But I was wrong about Mike.  He really stepped up and assumed responsibility, not only for Budder, but for Christie and Benny, too.  He is loving and kind and gives 100% to his family.  I am eternally grateful for the good man he has proven to be.  

I am thankful for my wonderful comfy bed. It is like sleeping on a cloud. I sure could have stayed in there all day today!! 

I have to laugh, Vickie, because my bed like yours, is so high. I am thinking soon I will need a step stool to get up on it. I am short and need to kind of boost myself up getting onto it. LOL!!!

Today I am thankful that my floor is ALMOST  done!!!!!!!

I am also LOL here about your beds...Mine is ALSO HIGH enough that I have to about jump to get in it!!!   And right about now wish I was in it LOL but not to be...sighs..

I am thankful for the homemade chicken broth i have heating on the stove and will use for brown and wild rice with onion and mushroom soup tomorrow.
