Vic she might have a spranged hip, leg or back...yes take her to the vet might need ex rays to find out!!! Poor baby!!! One of my tenants uses that stepping thing for dogs to go up on the bed/furniture works good!
I hate to say this but I am lucky Rick DOES clean up after himself...Now me...I am the slob here...Yikes!!!

Hello Vickie...first of all I am glad that the kids are coming over to help you get things done. They will have a good time. Benny and Budder will be looked after and I am sure they miss you and Butch!! I know they will appreciate you paying for the painting as well. Every bit helps those young families with little ones. Plus one of your delicious meals..BONUS!!!! I am so glad that Christie is so happy and being such a good wife and mother. Crazy how somethings work out that way. I a proud of Christie and Mike.
Yes... I did change my clocks back last night....silly me...I did it last weekend too....LOL. I am going to admit that I have been so exhausted. I finally decided I was taking a morning for me. I wanted to sleep until I felt like getting up. Here goes....I slept until 11:30 AM!!!! I slept almost 12 hours!! I finally feel rested!! My body must have just needed it.
Poor little Maybelle...I know you take great care of her....I am glad you will be taking her to the vet and having her checked out. Keep us updated please!!
Banana bread...my favorite....wish I could learn how to make it good. I flunked banana bread and I used to bake a lot for my family!!! They liked it but I didn't. Sorry you are stuck with the extra dishes. I would have to clean them up first...I can't work in a messy kitchen! Hope Butch feels better soon.I am sure your SIL will love and appreciate the banana bread.

Connie there is a box mix that you can buy CHEAP also!!! I think all you add is a couple bananas and water? or is it an egg? to it and bake it. It is sooooo good!!!! Anyhow it is in a yellow box lol that I DO remember!!!
WOW you DID get some sleep!!! I woke up at 630!! GRRRRRRRR my turn to open also and so the darn place got open early!!!! Could NOT go back to sleep!!! Now tomorrow morning I will want to sleep!!!! Sighs.......NOT looking forward to work tomorrow or the next few days taking rents......just NOT!!!!!!

Uh, who was it the other day who asked me if my husband cleaned up after himself? Cindy? HA! Butch got up this morning and made a HUGE GREASY MESS in my kitchen cooking breakfast. He used 2 fry pans, bowls, a biscuit pan and innumerable other utensils and then announced he wasn't feeling well and went back to bed!
SO, guess who's cleaning all that SH*T up? ME, that's who! And he knew I planned to get up and bake banana bread this morning. Hmph! I can't begin my baking until I clean all of his mess up first.

It WAS me, Vickie. Sorry you're stuck cleaning up. I don't like cleaning up after hubby either. I clean as I go in the kitchen and am very careful not to make a mess because I don't enjoy cleaning up afterwards. Cleaning as you go is so much easier, isn't it?
Hope you got to enjoy yourself baking banana bread once you could get started.

Trish....I am so glad you will have such an awesome birthday in Frankenmuth!! I have heard a lot about that place. A bunch of our other OFF members including Carla and Eileen went there for a gathering one time. I know they had a great time

As for me....I am being extremely lazy today. I slept really late and boy did I need it. I am going to go down to the kitchen now as they saved my lunch for me.

One last pop in before bedtime. I tell you, I just love all of you so much! I LOVE coming here and reading all the posts and feeling all the love and support and friendship we have here. We have something really special going here, sistas!
So the kids just left. Whew! Love 'em like crazy, but they wear us out! Butch is already in bed, and I'm not far behind him. Mike did really well with the yard work. He mowed and weed-eated and the yard looks so much better! Chris painted some primer around my never-yet-finished front door and side lights. Then she worked on painting some of the wood trim in the guest bath, but that will take at least two coats. I don't care how long it takes, as long as it finally gets done!
I cooked a big dinner. I made a ginormous chicken casserole and sent half of it home with Chris so they can have an easy dinner one night next week. I also made brussel sprouts, carrots, and cheddar bay biscuits. And we had cherry bounce cake for dessert. Everyone enjoyed having a family meal together and it was nice to spend some time with them.
Oh, and Maybelle is doing a little better this evening. Thank goodness.
