Thursday Morning
Good morning Trish and everyone......
Trish....so glad your headache is better today. The Blues Brothers is a funny movie. Enjoy your crocheting and relaxing today.
Vickie...I am glad you, Butch and MB made it home safely. I pray Butch doesn't get sick and dehydrated like before. I hope you both had a good night's sleep.
Eileen.....hoping you are doing well today without too much pain. Have you heard from Richard as to whether or not he is staying there or coming back?
Judy.... hope you are managing to keep the crazies at bay!!
We sure are missing people on this thread. Come back ladies we miss you!!!
I have a ride coming to pick me at 1:15. I will be going to rehab for my balance issues. How boring is that? I have to mail out an anniversary card to my daughter, Carrie. I also have to send Jamie her birthday card and gift. Other then that nothing else planned.
Wishing you all a beautiful day!
Prayers for our sweet OFF Family and their families.
Much love and many hugs to all.....connie d
Hi Connie,
I hope the rehab helps. Tell Carrie Happy Anniversary for me, as well as wish Jaime a Happy Birthday too.
I hope the rehab helps with your balance. Usually, when I have trouble with balance, it's fluid in my ears from all the infections I get in my sinuses. I know how boring it can be doing rehab stuff. Been there many times, after knee surgery, shoulder injuries, car accidents, etc. But, it sure helps.
Turns out I'm no****ching Frankie. I'm taking Izzy to the dentist. Colleen and Trent have an appointment with the principal at the same time. So, the boys are going to Aunt Jenn's, to play with their cousins, while they meet with her. What happened was, there was a race that Izzy was in. Trent would not sign so Izzy's picture could be put on the school's website. Before the race, the tech teacher wanted to take a class picture, and told Colleen that Izzy couldn't be in the picture. Then, when Izzy got upset, he had her in one picture, and get out for the other. Izzy was mortified to be singled out in front of her whole class, and wanted to go home and not do the race. Colleen asked him why he couldn't take the picture with her in it, and then photoshop Izzy out. He told her, "I don't have time or energy to do that." Colleen called Trent, and he went to the school to talk to him about embarassing his wife and daughter in front of the whole class, and he told Trent they weren't embarassed. They wanted to talk to the principal then, but she wasn't in till today. So, they kept the kids home for today, till they get it resolved. Trent left messages for her, but didn't hear from her this morning. So, he left the message that if he didn't hear from her by noon, he'd call the superintendent. They heard from her, and scheduled it this afternoon. Colleen usually has a great relationship with all the teachers because she's done professional developments on reading there, and her in-laws teach there, but I would have been furious too.
Must scoot. Love ya.
Hugs,
Trish

Hi Judy, glad your note helped. Someone felt guilty.
We had a gorgeous, pleasant day today. Izzy and I took Utley for a walk this afternoon, and neither of us had jackets on. If it's nice tomorrow, I'll rake some leaves, and start that endless project. I have leaves coming in the front door, thanks to Utley dragging them in.
Must scoot.
Love ya.

Hi Trish and my OFF family:
You sure find a lot to do with crocheting and knitting and such. I always wanted to learn, but every time I've tried to learn how to knit, it was a disaster. Never tried to crochet. I used to like doing crewel needlework, but my hands shake so much now ... even doing ceramics wouldn't be good, I can't do the fine hand movements I need. I can't do the eyes on the people ... well, I was never good with eyes anyway.
Vickie, I'm glad you and Butch have some time to rest and Chrissy has to find her own babysitter. I agree with Judy, a high school is a good place to look. Or is there a Rent a Kid with the local YMCA? Just a thought.
Connie, I'm being good and wearing my boot all the time I'm up. Not a lot of pain other than when I'm up, so I'm sitting in my recliner. Heard from Richard yesterday and he's not sure when he's coming back. So it's just Juliette and me and his big-screen TV.
Judy, hope all goes well with the mammogram and the Pap. Swinging chickens for you.
Me, I'm just hanging out inside with my feet up, watching TV. No World Series tonight, but there is football on CBS tonight. Then I'll watch my Thursday shows after that on DVR so I can fast-forward through the commercials.
Have a good day, ladies.
Hey Eileen,
I've got the game on too. Did you see Manning break the record? That was cool that he did it at home.
I can'****ch TV and not have my hands doing something. I learned to crochet long before I learned to knit. I think crochet is easier and faster. Since I learned it, I can't not be doing something with yarn, or embroidery while watching. Unless it's reruns that' I've seen, and just want to play on the Internet.
Must get back to my yarn.
Love ya,
Trish
