Good morning Tuesday!

Well, good morning my sistas!

I'll start us off today.  We slept late and it felt wonderful to just be lazy.  (Of course, that doesn't count all the times I got up in the night and the early morning for potty breaks for Butch and the dogs!  LOL!  But the sentiment is the same: here's to lazy mornings!)

I actually got a little work done around the house yesterday. Go me!  I cleaned the kitchen, the guest bath, and got all the laundry washed and folded.  Oh, and ran Roomba around the floors.  Tough job, that one.  Ha!  But it's starting to look and feel a little better in here.  Today I need to clean our bathroom and continue with the general picking up and straightening.

We're going to see Butch's doctor this afternoon, so that means a shower and a shave for him this morning. I sure hope that Dr. Vreeke can do something to help his poor shoulder!  He's experiencing a lot of fatigue this week.  I think it is just the chemo.  He's NOT dehydrated, thank God!  Home health nurse was out here yesterday and PT is coming tomorrow.

Last night I sat down and designed a texting glove to match the pattern in Carrie's new cap.  It turned out really cute!  I'm excited because they match!  I picked an element of the pattern in the cap (for which I had a pattern) and then incorporated it into the texting glove.  I will make the other glove tonight.  Then all I'll have left to make is a matching cowl, which won't be difficult at all.  I might have to make myself a pair of those texting gloves.  I'm a bit hampered right now by my sore (cut) thumb, so I'm still not working on my new crocheted sweater right now.

I made a delicious veggie supper last night.  Thinking about doing it again tonight.  It will depend on what Butch is hungry for, I guess.  I'm trying to cater to his appetite right now.

Chris says she can come out this Sunday to start the painting.  Oh, joy!  I can hardly wait!

Well, that's all the news from South Texas.  Gotta go tackle the day.  Love you all!

Good Afternoon Vickie, and OFF to follow,

Vickie, I hope Butch's doc can help his shoulder pain.  It is understandable that Butch is fatigued.  I'm proud of you for designing the glove for Carrie.  I started a scarf for Izzy for Christmas.  I'll also make her a cap.

I have to clean the kitchen, and do some laundry.  Also, need to clean the bathroom, and start my bedroom.  It's a disaster area.

Not much going on.

Hugs,

Trish

Hi Vickie, Trish and my OFF family to come:

You wear me out just reading your post, Vickie. I couldn't do all that. I'm fortunate on a good day to do laundry.

I like the texting gloves. I have fingerless gloves that I got online from Plow and Hearth, but they don't cover the fingers; they go up to bottom of the fingers. They're great for work because they keep my hands warm when the office gets too cool.

I haven't done a whole lot today. Just playing around on my computer and watching TV. The World Series is tonight, if it hasn't gotten rained out. We had rain here; don't know what it's like around Kansas City (just checked; no chance of rain tonight). So I'll keep reading Harry Potter and watching baseball tonight. And getting through my DVR'd shows. Last night I started watching "Scorpion." It's a series about a bunch of geniuses who solve problems. Supposed to be based on a real story. The first episode was very good.

Hope Butch gets some help for his shoulder. I know how it can be a pain to have pains, lol. I have a lot of them.

I get to go to the doctor tomorrow; hope he clears me to go back to work. I'm getting bored. Don't think I'd be able to do what my mom does ... just sit at home and do nothing every day and not go anywhere.

Have a good day.

Afternoon OFF family....

Well I had an encounter last night with a tenant that USED to live here...FOUL MOUTH OMG!!!!!!!! Went to lock up and came across her and her mothers dog...(mother lives here) she was bringing the dog home I guess...dog NOT on a leash like it should be. Dog comes running right up to me and Bandit...now remember Bandit does not like this dog because it jumps all over him...I stop walking as this little dog runs all around us...I say nothing. YET. Miss foul mouth says to the dog come on lets go see Harold...dog runs back around by her keeps running away and right back to Bandit and jumps on Bandit and then bandit growls. I pick Bandit up and THEN I say to her...why don't you have him on a leash? (ok sorry for the language here) F*** YOU Judy!!!!! I told her no need to swear at me...WE DO HAVE RULES HERE THAT DOGS ARE TO BE CONTROLED ON A LEASH AT ALL TIMES. F*** YOU *****!!!!! I then tell her once again I don't need to hear her foul mouth. F*** YOU *****!!!!! OK that is enough I can get a no trespass on you in a heartbeat. GO AHEAD YOU F***ING *****!!!!! OK I will get it out of my office be right back!!! I turn and go back to my office to get the one we had from 2012 for this exact moment!!!! I went back to the apartment she was at and was told she left. I asked her uncle if he would give it to her. He said yes he would. Fine. So today I put a copy of it in the mail for her and took one to the police department! I am so sick of this woman and her mouth!! Yes this IS the one that threatened to shoot me with a gun after her mothers dog bit a neighbor when it was running around...no not the same as this dog last night. So now I can't wait to deal with mommy dearest!!! BUT I am thinking she has already started...see I posted on everyone's door this morning that the clubhouse and laundry rooms will be closed as of 4pm Thursday because we are getting the floor put in. Yes I mentioned they CAN still get their mail. Well the post office called me a short while ago and said a woman brought her copy to them asking if we can do this? She told this "woman" it says they CAN still get their mail those days...WTH is wrong with these people????? Can't they read??????? And IF it IS this woman she only gets her mail once or twice a week anyhow!!!!!!!!!! So whats her problem??????? SMH!!!!

Anyhow we are getting winds and some rain today...mostly winds...nothing big. WOOHOOO!!!!

Got my last RECERT done for November just need the new lease yet should have that by morning. Then I start the NEW way with the next two that are due...wait til they find out THEY have to do their OWN!!!!!!!!!!! OMG!!!!!!!!!!!! I print out what they need and they are on their own!!!!!!!!!  Then they bring it all back to me done and I enter it and fini**** HAHAHA yeah right!!!!!!!!

Well time to go check out FB see whats happening there....

Thoughts and Prayers for ALL that need them!!!!

Hi everyone!

I am POOPED!  Just wanted to pop back on and see who did what today.  I had a really busy day, but I'm not sure I got anything accomplished.  Y'all ever have that happen?

This morning I baked a cake.  I have all this Cherry Bounce I made for my Outlander party last August (that never happened), and it was expensive to make and I didn't want to throw it out.  So I looked up some recipes on-line and came up with a Cherry Bounce Cake.  (Cherry Bounce is 1 qt of liquor, 1 pint of fresh cherries, and 1/4 cup of sugar--blend and let sit for 4-6 months.)  I had a few set backs, like my cake sticking in the tube pan, but I finally got it made and dang! is it ever good!  I will post the recipe on another thread for y'all.

Then we had to go to the doctor for Butch.  He did get that shot in his shoulder, so hopefully that will help.  And then we went to the store.  I made Butch wear a face mask and he rode the electric cart around so he wouldn't get too tired.  Anyway, he decided he wanted crab legs for supper.  So then we came home and I started making supper and now it's 8 p.m. and I'm going to bed!  LOL!

Trish, I want to hear about your crochet for Izzy.  Judy, you need to be careful!  I can't believe that woman talked to you that way!!!  I would have died on the spot.  I don't think anyone's ever spoken to me like that. Eileen, I hope you get a good report from the doctor tomorrow.  Connie, I hope you get a good night's sleep and wake up feeling MUCH better tomorrow!  If I forgot anyone, I'm sorry.  You know I love you all!

Nighty-night!
