Tuesday Morning
Good Morning Family,
I got a good night's sleep, again. I also was totally exhausted last night. Turns out I ended up spending the day at Colleen's, except for an hour, coz her time at the kids' classes was longer than expected. No worries. Most of the time, Frankie was sleeping, and I was folding laundry for her. He got fussy coz he didn't sleep well the night before, so she came home at lunch time and put him down.
Today is cleaning, cleaning and more cleaning. My sink is overflowing with dishes, and I am disgusted by the clutter in here.
Must get to work.
Love, Hugs and Prayers,
Trish

Good morning Trish and everyone.....
Trish....don't stress you will get the dishes done, clutter, and whatever else you want to do. Don't look at the whole picture. Take one stop at a time.
Vickie ...praying you have a good report to share with us. I love you sweetie!!
As for me......not doing well today. I couldn't sleep either. I have someone delivering my lunch later. I will be a couch potato with my blanket and pillows.
Wishing you all a beautiful day!!
Prayers for our special OFF Family and their families.
Lots of LOVE and loads of HUGS to all.....connie d
Hi Trish, Connie and my OFF family:
I had a busy morning/early afternoon. I went to the doctor for a follow-up on my foot surgery. Somehow one of the bones in my little toe shifted. He said it's not unusual; sometimes it happens when a patient walks without the boot (oops, busted! I sometimes do that when I have to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night. Too difficult to put on). Anyway, he wants me off at least another week. My next appointment is Wednesday; I was supposed to go back to work Thursday. So we'll see. My supervisor drove me today and so we talked on the way home. Good to have a good relationship with your boss; you learn how he/she feels about you. That's how Richard and I became friends. I wouldn't say Joanie and I are bosom buddies, but we respect each other and get along well. We think alike.
After the doc appointment, Joanie took me to the store for a couple of things (actually, she went inside, as it's still uncomfortable to walk) and then when we got to my place, she looked around and found my wheeled walker. What a difference! I can actually get around decently now. Warmed up chili for lunch after the furniture fixers came by to fix the handle on my recliner. I'm starting to get sleepy now.
I plan to watch the World Series tonight ... Trish are you going to watch? I'm cheering for the Royals. AL Central team and they haven't won anything for so long. Nice to see a different team in there.
Connie, rest up and I hope you feel better.
Vickie, hope you and Butch are doing OK.
Everyone have a good day.
Hi Eileen.....glad you got in to see your doctor. Too bad about the bone that slipped. That happened to Pam ....she was always on it.....now she needs more surgery again.
Your supervisor sounds like a nice person. It is nice that you can relate with each other. YOU listen to that doctor!!!
I am going to bed soon...I haven't slept since Sunday night. I am very tired!!
Enjoy your games tonight!!
Love and HUGS....connie d
Evening OFF family...well I worked all day alone...Well Chase worked on other side in an apartment Rick stayed home said he didn't feel good. I was in and out all day running to hardware for odds and ends then the mail came so went to bank...while there stopped at walmart to talk to that insurance man...he said he found me some health insurance cheap...ok...so looked at that and its NOT really an insurance but something that will HELP me through...sort of like a ppo. Sighs...asked him what a real insurance would cost me. He checked that out...ready for this? $500.00 PLUS!!!!!!! That's a MONTHLY payment!!!!!! How the hell can I afford that and still pay my bills??????????? Anyone in here ever have a PPO??? If so did you like it??? I just do not know what to do. I am so sick of this Obama crap!!!!! Just WHERE is all this CHEAP insurance???????? I will be 62 one month from today. So supplemental won't work for me either.
Anyhow I got back home only to find a NASTY note under my door about the flag needing attention NOW!!!!!!!! WTH????? I looked outside and saw the rope broke or something on it...it was flying hi but one of the ropes came off the bottom of the hooks. And what does this NICE person use to let me know? Not one of the work order papers...oh nooooooooo they used one of my BINGO flyers!!!!!!! Much easier for me to make another one of those....yeah right!!!!! Sighs....so I called Chase and we fixed the flag til tomorrow.
Hands and wrists hurting today. Dam weather. Cold and rain. Hate it!!!!!!!
So that's my day...fun huh?
Thoughts and Prayers for ALL that need them!!!
HUGSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
Hi Judy....why didn't this NICE person go ahead and fix the flag? Why they used a flyer instead of a work order is beyond me. Just trying to make you mad!!!
Insurance is so ridiculous....thank God for disability and Medicare. I still pay a premium but nothing close to what you would have to pay. It is getting worse every year. One of you two my have to find a job with benefits. It is crazy!! Good Luck...that Obama Care is a total joke!!
I am going to bed early....I didn't sleep at all last night....I am so tired!
Lots of love and many hugs....connie d

My endocrinologist would see me but they dont have any appointments available!!! But I have to call her back in the morning! I told her It might be an addisons attack!

Carla
Hello sweet sistas!
It's late and I won't post much here. I just did an update on CarePages. But for those of you who aren't on that site, I did want to let you all know that Butch is starting back on chemo tomorrow morning. The doctor has changed his chemo drugs and developed a plan of smaller doses of chemo more frequently. He said Butch is already very weak and he wants to be careful not to treat the cancer so aggressively that it makes Butch too ill to function at home.
We had a very long day and we're both pooped! We did have a nice dinner out at The Cheesecake Factory. We've never been there, and I wanted to try it. We had yummy dinner and brought home 2 slices of cheesecake: one lemon meringue and one strawberry. But both of us are too full and too sleepy to enjoy it right now. Guess we'll have to have it tomorrow.
Read all the posts. All I can say is WTH? for Judy and Carla. Crazy stuff going on with both of you. Connie, I hope you get some good sleep tonight and wake up feeling better tomorrow. Eileen, I'm sorry your recovery hit a bump, but glad you are getting some help from your boss. Maybe the bone in your foot will heal up without needing any more surgery.
I love you all Very Much! Nighty-night!
