Hi Carla,

Wow, I would have thought a white sweater in Vinnie's size would be easy to find.  I think my sis-in-law had knitted one in white when Izzy was born.  Colleen used it for her when Chris got married.  She was exatly six weeks old then, and it was perfect because it went with the gorgeous dress I'd found  for her on sale at Babies R Us at a steal of a price.  It was like a gown, all pink, with taffeta over it.  It was a little too big for her, but it was the smallest I could get back then.  Colleen had her wear it most of the evening,  and then  partway through the reception she changed her into some jammies.  At that age, she slept most of the time anyway.  Colleen was nursing then, and had to sit in the balcony during the ceremony, coz Izzy got hungry right then.  But, she was more beautiful than Casey, who was absolutely gorgeous.

Good afternoon Trish and everyone.....

Trish...The Serenity Pray is a favorite of mine. I have it posted in three places in my home. It has gotten me through some tough times. Sorry you had to redo the nursery schedule. Hope you got the nursery laundry put away! Now try to relax tonight you have earned it!! Trish thanks for the good thoughts and prayers. I more then anything I want my pain to go away.

As for me....I am having a hard time posting right now. I had an eye appointment and he did dilate my eyes. I just got home a bit ago. I am so glad I didn't have to drive!!  My eyes haven't changed in 13 years. I thought for sure they would have changed this time. He said my eyes are very healthy. I laughed and said " at least some part of me is" healthy!! LOL!!

Nic called me again today. He wanted to chat a bit...not about anything important. I loved hearing his voice!! He made me laugh as always! I will be giving him that horse to take with him to Memphis!!

Sorry I didn't reply to you when I di the others.  I had a really bad episode of ADHD.

Turns out I wasn't able to get to the church to work in Nursery.  Too crazy busy here.  I must get there tomorrow.  I need the new schedules in everyone's mailboxes by Sunday.  The laundry should be able to wait till Sunday, but not the schedules.

I'm so glad that Nic called you.  I look forward to when the Munchkins just want to talk to me.  Right now it's games and puzzles with Lincoln.  Izzy is crafts and sometimes puzzles.  Frankie, it's playing with cars and reading lots and lots of books.  

Wow, no change in your vision for 13 years!  Mine have been changing every year since I was nine.  When I had vision coverage it only covered $75 every two years, and Progressive lenses and frame cost way more than that.  My Medicare plan doesn't cover any vision, exams or glasses.  Does yours?  If so, what supplemental plan do you have.  I'm thinking of changing mine since it's open enrollment time.  

My therapist back home had encouraged  me to get into Mindfulness Meditation for my chronic pain issues.  I couldn't afford the programs that taught it, so I found an app for my iPhone which has helped tremendously.  I can't remember if it was free or not, but if it was, it couldn't have been expensive coz I've never purchased any more than $25.  I doubt any that high exist, since I don't remember any more than $10.  My memory is not as reliable as it used to be.  It's worth looking into, if you have a smart phone.  If you do, you should check it out.

Trish....no need to worry about not answering my post every time. I miss a few people here and there myself. It all depends on how I am feeling that day. Pain dictates my days some times.

What is the name of the app on your phone. I will check into it.  Thank you!

My eye doctor is really surprised too. He can't believe at my age, that my eyes are still the same. I am not complaining at all!!!

I went to the app store on my iPhone and did a search for Mindfulness Meditation, and found it.  It's green, with the letters Mnf on it.  I just checked mine, and for some reason it's not opening properly since I activated my new iPhone.  I'm going to have to call Verizon about it.  There are other Mindfulness apps in the app store, which cost $1.99.  I'm sure if the one that's called Mindfulness Meditation doesn't work, or download, the others would be fine too.  

Could you give me the name of your Medicare secondary insurance provider?  Does it cover vision exams and/or glasses?

I am disabled and in a special group under the "Elderly Waiver Program". I have everything on one card now. Medical, eye and dental. Dual Solutions at Medica. I am way older then you!! Good luck!!
