Sounds like you got a deal on your shoes. I have some of those too. I wear them when I am out walking. Otherwise I have many, many shoes and boots!!

YUP...the toilet seat must go down. It was a few years ago now, but snakes were coming up trough the toilets in this area. They figure someone had them as pets and set them free. Probably college students in the apartments not far from here. I won't even sit on a toilet without looking in it good first!! EWWWW!!!

I am glad things are working out so far with a room-mate. That is so nice of you to do that.

Yes, I use my cane all the time too. I like the walker wen I go a further distance. I have a seat on it so I can sit down when I need to. I feel so old and useless right now!!!
