Good Monday Morning....what's new with you?
Good morning everyone....
The morning here is cooler once again. It was 84 yesterday and high today of 60. Then I wonder why I am hurting so much!! I don't know who upset mother nature but she sure is giving us some crazy weather!!
I am going to try to get out of my apartment and work on that puzzle before lunch today. I have been staying pretty much to myself most of the time. I didn't even go down to lunch yesterday. However, I did go out for a couple walks in the evening.
Wishing you all a lovely day. Praying Butch and Vickie have safe travels today.
Prayers for our sweet OFF Family.
Loads of love and bunches of hugs....connie d
Good Morning Connie and OFF,
Colleen has my laptop, so I will be brief till later.
Please pray for the Munchkins. Izzy has strep throat. Lincoln has hand, foot and mouth disease. Frankie was also seen by the doctor, but he's fine, for now. She has scrips for the boys in case they get strep. There's no meds for Lincoln. Will post more later.
Love,
trish

Good morning Connie and Trish!
Praise the Lord! The doctors have decided to let Butch stay in the clinical chemo trial! The director of the trial, Dr. Corn, consulted with Butch's doctor, Dr. Tu, and they decided that this two weeks of radiation could be termed as palliative care, not treatment. With that designation, and by working around the wording of the parameters of the trial, Butch still qualifies to stay in the trial! So he will finish up his radiation treatments this week, and then in two weeks start back on the chemo again.
This is Great News and Answered Prayer! God has heard all of our prayers and provided solutions we didn't even think were possible.
We are almost packed and ready to journey to Houston again. We are, of course, going to swing by "our" farm and drool over it again. LOL!
Trish, I'm so sorry the munchkins are sick. Will pray for a quick return to good health for all of you! Connie, hope that ol' demon depression is loosening its hold on you. You deserve to be happy and healthy. Depression needs to stay away!
Love you all!
Cindy...I can't walk anymore either. I am in so much pain even when I walk a 1/2 a block, not to mention I am out of breath from my COPD. My doctor thinks I should be jogging by now. She wants me out walking twice a day. I walk for her because I see her tomorrow. I don't want to lie about walking. She is younger and just doesn't get it!!! I have a new doctor/ internist lined up for December!!
I used to walk every morning about 6 AM...3 miles...every day....rain, snow or ice!! In fact I was jogging 1/2 the way!! I haven't been able to since I broke my hip 5 years ago.
Have a lovely evening....love and hugs....connie d
Hi Connie and my OFF family:
Woke up this morning to two big guys standing over my bed: Richard and his friend-mover Dwayne were here. Dwayne works in the pressroom. They were moving the big stuff in. Dwayne has a truck and was able to help Richard move his bed and also get some of the stuff out of my spare room. Tomorrow, they'll move another load.
So I am getting a roommate. He'll be here full-time tomorrow.
Connie, hope you are feeling better. The weather here has been beautiful, in the 80s.
Vickie, I'm so glad Butch is staying in the trial. Hope your travels are safe.
Trish, sorry the munchkins aren't feeling well.
Have a good day.
