Good Afternoon Connie, and OFF,
Busy weekend, again. Went to Michigan State's bookstore yesterday, and got my nephew a shirt for their football team. They won the Rose Bowl game. Neil loves sports, and gets into all those sports shirts. He wears them to his Special Olympics practices. I've been buying him different shirts for years for his birthday. I also give him a Burger King gift card. He lives on his own, and doesn't drive. But, he can walk to Burger King, where he lives. Then, I ran an errand in Lansing. I spent most of yesterday working on my blanket, and taking care of other things here. Then, last night, I helped at a free concert in the park, selling snacks.
This morning, I was late to church, coz my alarm didn't go off. Then, I rushed home to take my allergy meds. I was having an awful allergy attack. Now, I have the Phillies game on, and I'm going to put a late lunch in the oven. There's supposed to be a potluck at church later, but I don't think I'm going. I am so tired today, and my ear has really been bothering me.
Must scoot. Love and prayers for everyone.
Hugs,
Trish

Hi Trish....that is nice that you get your nephew sports shirts. I am sure he looks forward to that gift on his birthday! It must make him so happy!! I am glad he participates in the Special Olympics. That is such a good program.
Sorry about the allergy attack. Everyone seems to have some kind of allergy thing going on. Hope you feel better soon.
Rest up and work on your blanket. Hope your ear quits bothering you.
Love and hugs....connie d
Hello Connie and Trish and all my sistas!
Oh, dear, both of you are down with the ills! I'm so sorry. I hope you both start feeling better soon.
We slept so late! Never, in all of our 33 years of marriage, have I seen Butch Poe sleep til noon! Never. But today I slept til 11:15 and he slept til 12:20! We hardly know what to think about ourselves. LOL!
He wanted biscuits and gravy for his "breakfast", so that's what I fixed. Plus some fresh peaches and blackberries in a little bit of vanilla yogurt. Now we're both stuffed and watching gymnastics on the tv.
Got no plans to go anywhere or do anything today except crochet and cook a little supper tonight. I'm in my jammies and plan to stay there! So is Butch. No company and no chores today.
Love you all!
Good Afternoon, All.
Thankfully, I can finally say that my pain is lessening from this darn pelvic rim fracture. I wouldn't wish this experience on anybody. It has been awful. So, I am extremely grateful to be on the downhill side of it now.
Connie and Trish, sorry to hear that you aren't feeling up to par. Vickie, glad to see that you and Butch are enjoying being well-deserved lazy today.
Not much new here. This next week, we have to go to the valley so I can have a pre-cancerous spot on my face frozen. My PCP froze it in February and nothing much happened. This week, a dermatologist will be doing it. Not sure if they can freeze it deeper or what. I guess we'll see.
Wishing you all a peaceful, restorative day.
Cindy P.
Hi Cindy.....nice to see you posted today. I am happy to hear that your pelvic pain is finally starting to lessen. That must have been awful. I am still keeping you in my prayers.
I hope the doctor can get all of that spot off your face. I have one I need to make an appointment to get removed also.
Have a wonderful evening...love and hugs....connie d
