Saturday woes
Hello sistas,
Well, I really didn't feel like starting today's thread because I just don't have a good word to say today. But it's almost 2 p.m. and no one has started it yet, so I guess it's me.
We are not having a good day around here. Butch is in pain. He's nauseous and throwing up. I feel like there's nothing I can do to help him and I hate that. Neither one of us got much sleep last night, and I have the headache from hell.
See? I'm just little Mary Sunshine herself today.

Hi Vickie and everyone....
I was just starting the tread and then I saw that you did.
So sorry you have a horrible headache and that Butch isn't doing so well. I am sure the meds are upsetting his stomach. Poor guy. I also know you are worrying yourself sick. I hope you get better sleep tonight or you may have to cancel company for tomorrow. You are doing all you can do and right now that is enough. I know it is hard to watch him. He would feel the same way if it was you in that position.
So your sunshine is under the clouds today....that is okay. We all know the cheery awesome person you are. You say and do anything you want. We understand. You do always brighten my day!!
As for me....I was up until 4:30 AM....I tried to go to bed three times. I wasn't worried about anything I just couldn't sleep. I feel like taking a nap now. I have absolutely no desire to do anything. I am going to lay down and hope to rest a bit.
Keeping you and Butch in my prayers.

Bad night for all of us so far, I too could not sleep until 5 am, frustrated as not worried about anything, and have a tight skullcap headache since noon when I woke up all stiff and hurting. Called off my dinner guests who were very understanding.
Let's get through this day, especially Butch and Vickie....

Hi Jennifer....I am glad you decided to call off that dinner. Sorry about your miserable headache. I hope you will be feeling better soon. Prayers on the way.
I don't know what was going on but there sure were a lot of us not sleeping last night!! Like you said Jennifer...lets get through the day.
I laid down to rest and I had was interrupted by the phone and the door so I just gave up. Oh well too late to sleep now. I hope to get to sleep earlier tonight!

Vic...do NOT be upset that you are not a Happy camper with us...we UNDERSTAND!!!! Have you tried calling the hospital to let the know what shape Butch is in? Maybe they can get him something to help him. I KNOW there are things out there to help with the nausea...and I was also up til after 3am...so you were not alone...HUGSSSSSS
Afternoon OFF family...well We went truck tire shopping today. First stop was Sears. What we found online and what they quoted us was about $300 different. Told them we were just starting to look around. Next stop...Goodyear Tire**** the jackpot!!! We have appointment for monday at 3pm to get our new tires put on!!! We are happy with what our salesman quoted us and also gave us for the life of the tires.
Last night we went to the county fair. Remind me next year I do NOT want to go back to this fair!!! It is so messed up in how it is arranged. Rides here rides there...food here food there...animals covered up with screening so much you could hardly see them!!! Told Rick I was ready to go when he was. Seemed more like a carnival to me than a fair.
We were invited to a pool party for Chase's 9year old daughter tonight. Told Rick it is not warm enough for me to go to a pool. So we are not going. Besides we have never "met" this child either. Nor have we met his wife yet. Just feel this is not right...am I wrong to feel this way?
Bingo was really good yesterday. Had a full house!! WOW!!! I sure didn't expect that many at all!! But we had a good time!! Rick cooked hot dogs on the grill and we had regular hot dogs and coney dogs. All were happy. Next one is the 22nd.
Well my rib eye steak is ready for me to eat...Connie it is big enough for both of us!!! And then some!!! LOL Hope you like it medium rare!!!

I no longer eat red meat.....but I like my steak RARE!!! I miss having a good steak now and then. Just can't digest it. I have pain for hours after eating a small portion. Thanks for offering to share with me!!!
About the only meat I can eat is chicken, turkey, and just a little piece of pork roast every now and then. I eat more seafood and fish too.
The fair sounds like a real bust!! So glad you found a deal on tires!!
