Good Monday Morning....what's new with you?
Good morning everyone....
I am so saddened to hear of the loss of Trish's dear friend. I will keep them in my prayers. So sorry for Trish's loss.
I am angry that someone ruined the hard work that Judy did. People can be so cruel. I hope she can get cameras and catch these nasty people.
I hope Butch and Vickie had a much better night last night. I feel like I want to do something to help but I don't know what to do other then to just keep praying.
As for me....not much planned for today. I hope for a quiet day today. I already have 3 appointments this week. It is never ending. Someone always wants something!!
I will check back in later to see who else posts today.
Prayers for our sweet OFF Family.
Lots of love and many hugs to all....connie d
Hi Connie and my OFF family:
Well, it's my Friday at last ... after working six days. But no OT. I worked an extra day to make up for the extra day I took off when I had the ingrown fingernail.
My friend Roxane and her daughter (my goddaughter) are coming up from North Carolina, where they have been in a kayak competition. Rox and I were college roomies, plus roomed together after college for awhile, too. It's just a stopover visit. They'll stay overnight and on Tuesday, then drive back to Wausau, Wis., where they live. Erin turned 13 yesterday, so I'm going to take them out for her birthday. I haven't seen her in ages. I'm sure she's sprouted up. She and her older brother Cody were born on the same day, four years apart. He turned 17 yesterday. Rox had her kids late, obviously.
So that's my excitement. I hope they don't want to do anything too active (they are very active people). My right knee was really hurting yesterday; today, it's the left one. I wouldn't mind seeing something around here that I haven't seen, but on Tuesdays, I'm so wiped out.
Connie, hope you can take it easy. Rest up for me ...
Have a good day everyone.
Hello Eileen....I am so glad you are finally on your Friday!! I hope your friends just want to relax and maybe order a pizza and watch a movie together. They will probably be worn out too even though they are active people. Don't push yourself too much an suffer for days afterwards!!
Love and oodles of hugs....connie d
Evening OFF Family...well its been a day for us here...went to chiro for exam see how well we are one year out...we find out Wednesday at 11. Tenants KNOW I am PISSED about the door and the bulletin board in laundry room...they are also on the lookout to find out WHO did it!!! We are looking into video cameras!! But we think they will also get ripped off!!!! Think the club house will be locked up on weekends after mail is delivered on Saturday and all day Sunday!!! They want to play games with me...they do not know who they are up against!!!! Did a recert and then finished another one up...went to scan it on the NEAT scanner...it didn't work. Called the office...Bobby had to reprogram it. OK...got that done...scanned it...WTH??? I had to send it to Holly one page at a time!!!! It would not go as a file!!!!!! Sent her a RED FLAG EMAIL and not sure if its fixed or not but when I got back from lunch I was locked out of my PC so I assume Bobby was in it working on it again. I then left to get the tires on the truck...got that done and we headed back home...OMG did we ever hit a storm!!! Rain so hard we couldn't see anything!!!! I prayed that our parking lot was not flooding as my car was parked in it!!! We finally got home and we hardly had rain here!!! Thankyou GOD!!!! My PC was back to normal...I didn't check to see if anything else was because it was time to go home and nobody was in the office anyhow. So tomorrow I will try it again and see. We are to have nasty storms yet tonight and tomorrow. We will move the car and truck to higher ground as we could have 1-2 inches of HEAVY rain!!!! Could also have some hail??? Wind??? YIKES!!!!
So that is it for me tonight...getting ready to go lock up...hope Butch is doing better today!!! Lots of Prayers for him and Vicki!!!!
Thoughts and Prayers for ALL that need them!!!
HUGSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
Hi Judy.....You can get teeny tiny cameras...they won't even know they are there. You can put them in tree if you have too. I think you should think about it. Just my opinion!! These people are getting braver and braver....also stupider and stupider!!
I am glad the storm wasn't in your area. If it was you would probably have seen your car floating down the street!!! Hope the storms don't get worse later tonight.
I am worried about Butch and Vickie.....not like her to not leave some sort of post somewhere. I will just keep praying all is well!!!
More love and bunches of hugs.....connie d
Good Evening Connie, and OFF Family,
I've been busy today. I had a doctor's appointment, because my right ear has been killing me since Saturday. This happened to me before, where it was my sinuses causing fluid to put pressure on my eardrum. So, the doc put me on a stronger antibiotic.
I spent this afternoon applying for a part time, relief position as a therapist. I hate filling out forms on the computer. This place had a limit o the number of letters could be in the names of my colleges where I got myy degrees. My undergrad college has a long name.
I also stripped my bed, and washed my linens, in addition to two loads of clothes. So, I am pooped. I'm gonna get off my laptop in a few minutes, and worked on the blanket I'm working on for Erin's baby shower.
I appreciate that you all are praying for Ruth, and her family. She is such a good friend, that when my Chris took me to Florida for Phillies Spring Training, in Tampa, she drove three hours to have breakfast with me. After we ate, we sat in lounge chairs by the hotel pool. I remember her telling me that the hardest thing she had to do as a Mom, was to stand in the hospital while the docs were taking Crystal to surgery for the melanoma. I've already put a sympathy card in the mail to her.
Thanks again
Love,
Trish

Hi Trish.....you are so gracious to your friends and family. Of course Ruth and her family are still in my prayers. Ruth sounds like a really lovely lady too.
I so wish they could figure out more to do with your sinuses. I can't imagine having that all the time. Mine flares up but it goes away after an antibiotic. Then you have your ear hurting on top of that!! Sending you healing prayers!!
You were really busy today changing linens and doing laundry. I hope you managed to get some rest.
Love and many hugs ......connie d
Hi all! Just a quick note tonight. Butch did have a little better day today, but honestly, we are both so glum. I swear, there's not enough prozac in the world to lift me up right now. Don't know if it's just exhaustion, or if it's a combination of things, but neither one of us seem to be able to crack a smile today.
However, he's got a bit of appetite back today and he's discovered he loves orange gatorade, so that's good. He hasn't had any more nausea today either. He's still got some pain, but he says it's a 3 or 4 out of 10, and before it was a 7 or 8 out of 10, so that's better too.
As for me, I just don't want to do anything. I can't even pick up my crochet. About all I do is work crossword puzzles on my phone or play solitaire on my phone. I can't even get interested in reading. TV is a bore. I just want to go to bed and stay there.
Sorry to be a bummer. I hope the blue funk goes away soon. This is no way to live. I know I need to perk up in order to perk Butch up, but today just didn't go that way. Maybe tomorrow will be better.
Love you all!
(((((((VIC))))))) Been there done that...I know where you are at right now!!!! Hang in there better days are coming I promise!!!! So he likes Orange Gatorade huh?? Guess he will have a lot of that to drink then!! YUM YUM!!! LOL I can't stand that at all!!! Never could!!! YUCK!!!!!! LOL But if he likes it then so be it!!! I am sure you are just plain worn out!!!!! When Butch sleeps...YOU sleep also!!!! You take care of YOU also!!!!
HUGSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS and TONS of PRAYERS!!!!!!!!!! Love you!!!! :-)
Hey, no need to apologize, Vickie. I don't know how anyone copes with cancer. My friends, Mike and Gloria ... don't know how they handle it when Gloria was sick all that time with no chance of a cure and she was flying back and forth to L.A. for drug trials after MD Anderson told her she didn't have a prayer. She kept going until they kicked her out of the drug trial. But she reached her goal of making it to her son's grade-school graduation (8th-grade ... it was a 1st-through 8th grade school). Don't know how my mom managed it ... but my dad went very quickly.
So do what makes you stay sane ... if that's playing games on your phone, so be it. I do it all the time. Keeps my hands occupied so I don't put food in them and into my mouth. It's mind-numbing enough. And come here and cry to us if you have to. That's why we're here.
