Happy Thursday everyone....what's new today?
Afternoon OFF family!!!! I am here finally and boy I had one heck of a day today!!! Some of the tenants on the other side as I call it are so mad that they have been neglected the past few days they are calling me demanding to be taken care of right this minute!!! Like THAT is going to happen!! LOL I told them what was going on here and now it WAS their turn!!! Just be patient and the guys would get to their apartment area!!! OMG you would think they were living in a jungle!!! NOT!!!!!!!! Good Grief!!!!!!!
Then I have another tenant complaining that her circuit breaker keeps popping. Well the guys keep telling her to STOP PLUGGING ALL THAT STUFF INTO THAT ONE AREA that runs off that ONE breaker!!!! OMG!!!!!!! I finally got it into her head!!! I told her back when these places were built all these electrical things were not invented yet...she finally got it!!!!!!! HELLO!!!!!!! Then she started on the bees in her place...ummm its that time of year...they are around now and when you open the door to go in and out they DO get inside. They do MY apartment also. OH OK...Then she mentions she has fruit flies...yes I have them also...again its that time of year. Get some MALT VINEGAR put a little in a cup and put some plastic wrap over it then put a rubber band over it and then poke small holes in it with a toothpick. They can but not out. Really? YES!!! I used that method when I worked in Food Court. She went home happy.
Then I get another phone call from another tenant...she wants to come see me...OK I am here...she comes to see me...needs papers filled out for METRO. OK...hands my some jokes...along with it a card...a THANKYOU card for all I/WE do here for them!!! AWWWWWWW made my day!!!! So see its not ALL bad here!!! LOL
Tomorrow I am having BINGO again. New tenant came in to do her laundry. Saw I had Coney Dogs for lunch for Bingo. She said She was coming now for sure!!! What could she bring? I told her whatever she wanted. She is bringing Brownies!! YUMMMMMMM!!!!!!! Rick is cooking the dogs on the grill. YUMMMMMM I have the sauce to heat up...lol plus the ketchup and mustard and onions if they want that. So sounds like a weinner to me...LMAOOOO

Your tenants are so jealous of each other. GOOD GRIEF!! I would be putting Valium or something in those Coney Dogs. Maybe that would settle them down!! Have fun playing Bingo. Brownies yum!!!
May neighbor brought me three brownies fresh from the oven and frosted yesterday. I ate one throughout the evening and had the last bite this morning. I gave the other two to Tony. They were gone right away!! I knew better then to leave them around here!!
That was nice of your tenant to surprise you like that. See you do have some good people there that appreciate all you and Rick do for them.
I loved your story about the lady that kept making her breaker go off. That was funny!!! Like who couldn't figure that out.

Connie you hit the nail right on the head!!!! YES they are jealous of each other!!! OMG!!!!!!!! One gets something and then the next one wants one also!!! OMG!!!!!! One got a new cement patio put in...now this one needs one and so does this one...they don't stop to think the one that got the new patio couldn't get OUT this winter because it buckled UP so bad his door would not OPEN!!!!! But does that matter to them?? NOPE!!! Then another one has their stove go out...they get a new one...OMG now they have to have a new one also!!! Never mind theirs works just fine!!! Its crazy!!! We try to have the new appliances delivered so nobody SEES them...LMAO but it doesn't always workout for us!!!
Like I was telling Jenn most of these people here are seniors and a lot of this electronic stuff is all new to them and don't understand why its popping breakers...just have to stop and explain...just like little kids I guess...oh well...it works out. Just some days it really tries our nerves!!!!
Had a call right a supper for a toilet that was plugged...AGAIN....this woman ALWAYS uses ALOT of TP and we have TOLD her to either flush in between or use the waste basket. She won't. We even old her $20.00 we are NOT her personal toilet plungers!!! Especially AFTER hours!!! She doesn't care. She will get ANOTHER letter from corporate tomorrow. Her daughter WAS there and could have plunged it for us. But she didn't. This woman really belongs in an assisted living apartment not here.
LMAO put some VALIUM in the coney dogs...OMG how about exlax to keep them home?? OMG that is so wrong!! LOL
Still wish you and Tony would become a couple!!! You deserve to be with him!!!!

I went to Meijer last week, to get groceries. Searched all the vinegars they had, which were way more than I'd ever heard of, but could not find malt vinegar. So, I bought a bottle of apple cider vinegar, did the plastic wrap, but could find a rubber band, so I put tape all the way around to make it tight. It works great. One container killed well over ten of those things. Dumped it out yesterday, started a new container yesterday, and already got five of them. It'll probably happen all summer, since I'm always getting fruit, and sometimes have to keep it on the counter to ripen, like peaches. I learned that if peaches are hard, put them in a brown, paper lunch bage on the counter, and they'll ripen up in a couple days or so. Works every time, but sure brings those pesky fruit flies.

Like the rest of you saying thanks to powers that be for Butch and Vickie's return home...hope the next few days are well tolerated by Butch as most times the week after chemo can be very rough, but as long as pain is controlled and tumours shrink, we will all do the Happy Dance.
Eileen, kudos for persevering at your job with deaf guy, and with Richard.

Here I am reeling with a humongous headache, think side effect of my cancer med according to Internet research. Experiencing nausea an hour after eating, could be IBS or again a side effect. Have overwhelming tiredness and lethargy, most if it a side effect for sure.....but all in all, am alive and kicking so will take this, having an easier time than Butch....
Hope we all have a better day tomorrow, especially Vic ....

Me living at a FUNNY FARM??? LOL Some call it ROMPER ROOM...It is CRAZY at times for sure I will admit that!!! But WE LOVE IT HERE!!! These people well most of them are senior's so have to remember that things have changed a lot in their life time. Heck I can't even handle all these new electronic gadgets!!! LOL

Hello Jennifer...I am so sorry you are still having side effects from your medications. I keep praying for you that all will be resolved soon. I really had hoped that all this would be behind you by now.
