Wednesday posts
Late as mid afternoon and no one has started the thread, so I will, despite last time having my daily thread go screwy and disappear and come back. Maybe OFF is allergic to me starting the daily thread.
So now we are open for chats today, will just say we have rain and claps of thunder mid-afternoon, temps are set to rise tomorrow after a few coolish days. Today is a goof-off do nothing day, not going out nor planning on doing anything useful.
Think Positive thoughts for Butch and Vickie. The rest of you at OFF, have a better day than Vickie is having....

So glad to hear Butch is getting some stronger pain meds and is in the hospital now and being taken care of.
As for my saga ... well, Richard followed through at last. He called the clinic this morning and got an appointment today. He said he could walk there, but I decided I would drive him, to make sure he got there and in case he had something to say that he couldn't express (although now he is coherent enough). The nurse practitioner was really nice and got him set up on cheaper prescriptions (where he was getting them was more expensive, apparently). Then I took him shopping and we picked up his prescriptions. I was supposed to have someone come over to clean, but I thought it was more important to get him to the doc. I called her to cancel, but I had only one number for her, and obviously she had a cell number too ... so she was on the way as I was leaving. She was a bit pissed. Oh well. We'll try again later.
I'm pretty pooped. Glad I put salsa chicken in the crockpot before I left. At least I'll have dinner tonight. I really didn't feel like eating out again.
So now it's late in the afternoon and I've wasted a whole day and didn't get anything done. Didn't sleep well last night and need a nap. Have a good day.

It is evening and I have got to go to bed soon. I have had a horrible flare up day......everything hurts.
Pam came over and made dinner for us tonight. Just taco's but they were really good. Grace really ate a lot! I got a chance to take a nap this afternoon. Pam kept Grace busy. It was so nice.

Good Evening Everyone,
I'm totally exhausted tonight. I was at Colleen's early this morning. Watched the kids for a few hours. She had a meeting with her supervisor at the college where she teaches. After she got home, we had a yummy lunch, while the kids had fish sticks and grapes.
After lunch we went to a park, and the kids played in the sand on the beach of a lake. Wish we'd brought their swimsuits, coz Frankie got soaked anyway, wading, or I should say, running, in the water knee deep. He had shorts on, but the running splashed the water all over him. He was happy. Then, he fell, and hurt his knee. It didn't bleed, but he wanted me to carry him. I tried, so I got wet, and had to put him down, coz he's heavy. Then, the kids played on the playground. Then we walked over to an area where they had racing tricycles, and a track. But, Frankie is too little to ride the trikes, so I had the bigger kids finish, and we walked all the way back to the car. On the way home, I stopped at McDonald's, and they got cones to snack on. It's so much fun to watch Frankie eat ice cream. He had it all over him.
After I came home, I checked in here, but was too tired to post here, I did post to Vickie's.
