Good Morning Everyone,

I had a busy day yesterday.  Today is just light tidying, dishes, and crocheting.

I hope Vickie and Butch get some answers today.  Let us know what's happening, when you can.  We're still praying.

Judy, prayers for your Mom continue.

Love to all,

Trish

Carla....good job in getting the car paid off. As much as you are always traveling around how will your husband get around if you have his car?? I guess you know what is best. I think you will miss your Honda! Although...no car payments is a big deal!!

Love and hugs....connie d

Hi Trish and my OFF family:

I woke up today to my phone meowing (it's my ring tone) ... didn't answer it. Then my middle finger on my left hand started throbbing. I think it's an ingrown nail. I'm trying warm compresses and neosporin, but if that doesn't work, I'll go to the doc. I had neosporin on it for the past two days and it was getting better until this morning. I have to work but don't feel like it. Kind of hard to take off. Hope this finger feels better soon.

Carla, congrats on paying off the car. Hope we hear something on Vickie and Butch. I know she'll be busy.

Not much else going on. Have a good day.

Connie:

I ended up going to urgent care; turned out  I had an ingrown nail in my middle finger. The nurse practitioner suggested moving it a little every day for two weeks, and it would still hurt, or he could do a nail avulsion. Basically, he cut part of the nail off (after numbing it fairly well) and removing the ingrown nail. And it was rather large, which is why I was in so much pain. When I decided to do this, I called in sick. I had already called my boss and told her what was going on, that I might be late. But after he described it, I knew I'd be in too much pain. And I can't really type very fast with it. It's the finger that hits the e-d-c key ... I've been avoiding it.

It was pretty ugly. Glad I got it done, though.

Hi All:

Went to my dermatologist with my iPad pictures of what I thought were me with 2 rosacea flare-ups, but seems I have a definite allergy to my cancer med.  What I have us Fixed Drug Allergy, as flareup occurs each time I go back on, in same spots on my face, but are darker each time.....if I continue on the allergy causing med, the flareup becomes permanent, spots will become purplishbrown, and will apoear in clusters elsewhere on my body, and the itching burning and looking like a monster  he predicted will make me so miserable will have no choice but to stop taking the med. The reaction is very rare, derm told me I am very unusual and probably not of this planet.

I see onco at hospital next week, her plan B is to put me on another cancer med which is 20% less efficient  and has a serious risk of blood clots in legs.

Sounds like I'm jumping out of the fat into the fire.....what a choice!
