My Aunt Bernice also had a lot of UTIs later in life that caused her some mental issues. That and colon blockages. The docs would think she had strokes but it was only UTIs. That's how serious they can be. Mom has gone through some similar things (although I think the most recent issues with her are just stubbornness).
And it's really easy to get a UTI in the hospital, too. So it's something they need to watch for.
Hello Cindy....I about went crazy last night waiting for Pam. I hurt so bad all I wanted to do was go home!!
Your mom shopped like that huh? I don't think I ever shopped like that...LOL!! I make a list....go to the store...grab what I need...then I am gone! I always look up the ads to see what is on sale and write my list from that. I have never had the desire to stay in a store longer then needed!!
So how are your legs/knees doing? Are you still in pain?
I am glad to read that your hubby is doing okay after his mother's death. Sometimes we think we will be ready....we never are completely. You were a big help to him I am sure!

I am so sorry to hear that Butch is having a more painful day today.Make sure he is eating something when taking that many pain meds. Does ice or heat help at all? How about a tens unit? I feel so bad for him. He may need different pain meds.
That is nice that you are having a party for Chris on Sunday. It will be nice to have Carrie there too!!
As for the trip to MDA....make him up a bed in the back seat. He can prop up with his legs and feet up. That will take pressure off his back. Take ice packs with too. They will stay frozen in a cooler for that length of time. Just a few suggestions.
I guess if it were me I would be packing plenty of clothes and things as well. I wish I lived near and could help you out some way. Are you having someone stay at the house to keep a watch on things? I just keep praying for both of you!!! I am very concerned.

My heart goes out to you and Butch and your worries and stress....fingers, eyes and toes crossed this too shall pass and Butch gets better.
Cherish every moment you have with Butch as a family, and when just the 2 of you...you are both going through tough times! Not to mention your girls too, and Butch's siblings, great they think enough to come now early days to give support, don't be cynical about why they show up to hug him, his siblings are not looking to inherit as know they won't....!

Afternoon OFF family...today I have been busy painting again....got it all done though!! I did the railing outside the club house. Glossy Black! Not much on my hands either!!! LOL Did a great job if I do say so myself!!! 
LOL Had several interruptions also but that was ok...needed a short break anyhow!! Sure makes a huge difference in the look out there now!! WOW!!! Now I want to paint the door a different color...LOL Back is starting to get sore...glad tomorrow we go see the chiro and get adjusted!!!
Talked to mom last night and she is settled in and so far said is ok...starts her 3 hours of therapy today though...OMG soooooo will talk to her tonight after 9 when I have free minutes on my phone. She said to thankyou all for the thoughts and prayers and keep them coming!!! I told her you all would!!
Well we lost another tenant today. She died this morning at 12:30 am in the nursing home. She was a nice lady but a wicked one at times also!!! As for her family....OMG hate to deal with them!! Her son called me everything but a white woman once!!! And he had the wrong person!!!!! OMG!!!!!! So...just saying glad to be done with her family....lots in her apartment they need to clear out fast!!!!!!! They have til the end of the month. Then the guy have ALOT of work to do in that apartment!!! She had DARK paint on the walls along with wallpaper also!!!! BIG NO-NO!!!!!!!! Not sure who told her she could do that to begin with!!! Before our take over that's for sure!!! But when its all fixed up right it will rent fast as it is a two bedroom!!!! YES!!!!!!!!!!!
So that is my day today...YIPPEEE huh?? LOL

I am so happy that your mom is doing so well. WOW...3 hours of therapy seems like a lot for someone her age. Heck...if she can tolerate it good for her!!! I am still praying for her.
What is doing around there....people are dropping like flies?? Sorry she died. I hope her family gets there and gets everything out of there. YUCK...I would have them take down the wallpaper...just kidding!! You need to get it rented as soon as you can.

Connie I WAS thinking maybe like a brick red of sorts? Something like that...Or even a Blue of some sort...Going for a VERY pale blue on the inside of club house eventually. Maybe a Nautical theme?? Not sure just yet...still thinking on it...we will be getting a wood flooring put in sometime in the near future also...so lots to think about here. But RED does stick in my mind now...LMAO!!!!!!!
As for my tenants dying...most ARE OLD here. This one was old also. I would guess close to 90?? Could be wrong...she has been in and out of nursing home and hospital ever since we came here. I always said that woman needed to be in a home where she could be taken care of 24/7 but omg no her family wouldn't hear of it...and where were they??? NOT here to see her or take care of her that's for sure!!!!! So sad...with this being a 2 bedroom it will not take long to rent it!!!!
Calling mom at 9 see how she is doing...hope she had a good day!!!
