Good Monday Morning....what's new with you?

Good morning everyone.....

I started this morning with prayers for so many of you. My heart is heavy. So many blessings needed. Always know I keep you right here in my heart. God will get us through these trying times. I do believe that with all my heart. We can get through this together.  

I had a very busy day after all yesterday. You know how sometimes you can putter around doing this and that and then the day is done. That was me yesterday. I felt like I had a productive day. Nothing major but I did get things done. I had an almost pain free day. Even after doing laundry!! For me that was really something. Believe me I thanked God many times during the day. 

I am wishing you all a good day!!!

Connie, I am so glad you had a pain free day.  Those are such blessings.  I hope you have another today.  Also glad you found you had a productive day as well.  Keep up the good work.

I hope Vickie and Butch hear from MDA sooner than later.  I also hope Judy hears more about her Mom.  

My Mom is at my sister's this week, coz Colleen and the family are back home, while Trent works on her house.  The kids are staying at Colleen's Dad's.  They spent the weekend in New York, with Uncle Chris and Aunt Casey.  Fun!

I'm working on helping organize meals for the Youth Pastor and his wife.  They were able to bring Baby Eden home on Saturday.  She's on a sort of quarantine, so she's not to be exposed to too many people.  But, Nate, her Daddy, said they would appreciate meals.  I called his sis-in-law coz she organized something right after the baby was born.

I also will be cleaning, shopping, and making phone calls.

Good morning Trish.....thank you so much...I really did enjoy my day yesterday!! I actually have a little more energy today. Pain is bearable. 

I woke up at 6:30 AM and felt very rested for the first time in a long time! I am praying things are changing. I pray God is hearing my prayers.

It sounds like the kids are having a fun time with their uncle and aunt and now Colleen's dad. That is good for all of them. 

I am sure you will have those meals for your pastor figured out in no time. That is a wonderful thing you are all doing for them. It is wonderful that they could finally bring Eden home!!!

Afternoon OFF family...Well today started out getting a phone call from my sister at 7:30am....scared the hell out of me!!! Nothing happened to mom...BIG sighs....said mom wanted me to call her...OK...so I called her...she sounded better...NOT much but better. She thought it was afternoon...poor thing!!! I told her I was getting ready for work...Had her on speaker so I could talk and get ready...she still wasn't making much sense but better than she was. She said she TRIED to eat some mac and cheese...YUCK!!! Yea hospital mac and cheese IS YUCK!! Asked her why she didn't try the orange protein shake she liked before? She said that hurts her throat. OK...Said she was tired wanted to hang up. OK talk to her again tonight. OK BYE. Sooooooooooooo I feel a lot better. Oh her BP was 127/70 this morning my sister said. WOOOHOOOO!!!!!!!!!! FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!

Owner of the complex was here this morning to see us and the place. He said it looked like a golf course...lol He said I looked good now that I wasn't so darn skinny!!! OMG!!! Anyhow he gave both Rick ad I a hundred dollar raise a month!!! Plus he gave Chase a raise already and he's only been here since March! Usually they wait a year to give helpers a raise!!! WOW!!!! So he was happy made us all happy...now to make our inspection pass!!! So much to prepare for that!!

So that is my day so far....Connie glad you had a good day yesterday!!! Trish glad you had a good day also!!!

Hello Judy....I am so glad you spoke with your mom. It doesn't sound like she is quite so mixed up now.  Why would a shake hurt her throat...oh probably from the anesthesia. I feel so bad for her. I always said I would have rather had a baby then go through a broken hip again!! I keep praying for her!!!

Yay on the raises...I know you must keep that place looking better then when it was new!! You deserve those raises. You sure do work hard enough for them!! Now that Chase knows there are raises involved he may stay longer!!! He must be working out as I never hear you say anything about him.

I am so glad I had a good day yesterday too...today was good until about 2:00....now more spasms....but not nearly as bad as they were!!

Connie yes he is working out pretty good...he does have a few times I could kick his butt though...LOL He was HAPPY with his raise!!!! Now Jason when he got his raise same amount...he was NOT happy and he quit...WTH???? But from what I have been hearing about him...OMG wonder what all he has lied to us about!!!! He just got out of jail!!! Oh yeah!!!!!! Parole Violation!!!!!!! HUH???? Yeah!!!!!!!! If he was on parole he wasn't able to work here!!! He lied about that to us!!!!! OMG!!!!!!!!!

Anyhow glad that you had a good day and sorry that it came to and end...that SUCKS!!!!!!!

Hi Connie and my OFF family:

Sorry I haven't posted lately. Been busy with work. Saturday, I didn't sleep well and decided to take a nap about 1:45 p.m. ... figured I'd nap for 15 minutes. Next thing I knew, it was 3 p.m. and I had to hustle to get out of here. Sunday, I wanted to make a stop before getting to work and left earlier than I really needed to. Got in even before the jerk because the stop didn't take as long as I thought. We had storms midway through the evening and idiot thought we were going to have a power outage at 10:30 p.m. so he was hustling us to get out early ... we were done by 10:30 and no outages. He's such a worry wart. 

Not much else is happening. It's my Friday. Called my friend Richard and he sounded awful. He's hyper ... not on his meds and not sleeping. I offered to take him to get his meds or take him to CVS but he said he's OK. He really needs to get a doctor. I'm worried about him. I hope he gets some sleep. 

The storms did a number on my body ... had a headache at work last night but it was happening late enough where I couldn't take anything until I got home. We are supposed to get more storms tonight.

Eileen....I am glad you are okay...it is odd not hearing from you!

Work sounds like a zoo but glad you were done early! 

It sounds like Richard has some serious depression going on. He needs his meds and a doctor for sure!! I hope you can talk him into doing that! I hope he gets some sleep too that isn't helping him any. 

So glad your headache is better. I heard you were supposed to be getting storms in your area. Keep safe!!! Yes...these storms are not good for our bodies...I am sure you hurt pretty bad. HUGS!!

Eileen...with your friend Richard being unemployed, isn't there anyone that he can contact for his depression for FREE??? Seems like there should be!! Have him check his unemployment paperwork...social services etc...there HAS to be something there for him to use for FREE!!!!

I also have a headache...all the stress and not being able to get my work done so I can LEAVE HERE!!!!!!!! DAMIT!!!!! The new move in scheduled for ASAP my boss has her marked DENIED...she never changed it after we talked to APPROVED!!!! Now she was one for the afternoon and NOBODY but HER can change it so now I have to WAIT until she changes it and I can continue with the lease...GRRRRRRRRRRRR one more delay......sighs...we also have more storms brewing here anytime now. Seen the huge green glob coming from the west towards us. YIKES!!! I hope it goes around us like the rest have so far!!!!

Good morning, Connie, Trish, Judy, Eileen, and all to follow.

I second what Connie said about having a heavy heart and saying prayers for many of us. 

Hubby had a dr. appt. this morning and the dr. mentioned a nodule on one of hubby's lungs that was found on an abdominal ultrasound a few months ago. The radiologist recommended a follow up CT Scan which is due this month.  This is the first we've heard of the nodule.  Dr. said it could be from the years of smoking hubby did in his youth.  (Hasn't smoked since 1982.)  Anyway, he'll be having the scan as soon as they can get him scheduled for it.  A bit upsetting that no one told him about it when it was discovered. 

Judy, I'm glad you were able to talk to your mom as I know how worried about her you've been.  I pray your family members start keeping you in the loop so you know what's happening with your mom.

Connie, what a blessing a pain free day is.  We are like that when hubby goes more than a day without a migraine.  That is, we are sure to praise The Lord for those days and are very thankful for each and every one. 

Eileen, Richard is lucky to have you in his life.  I hope he goes to the dr. and gets back on his meds.  With his impending loss of unemployment benefits, the last thing he needs right now is to be off his meds.  I will keep good thoughts for him.

Trish, I hope you get everything you want to get done finished today.  Some days I set lofty goals for myself and other days I completely sit back and relax.  Are you feeling any better?

Can't remember what else I was going to comment on.  Hope you all have a good day today.
