Maybe you should wear a face mask outside and see if that will help you. I feel so bad because I know you are so miserable.

Judy...I think it is awful that your family is treating you this way. You need to notify the hospital so they can have a nurse or doctor contact you. I am worried you will have a stoke over all this stress!!
So sorry you will be having storms again!! You just can't catch a break from bad weather!
As for me.....I just caught up on my laundry again. Glad that is done. No one else around here does laundry on Sunday's. I probably shouldn't. I have to do it when I can, plus I like being in there alone. Time to make a quick lunch and then I am going to read the Sunday paper. If I don't hurt too bad I may go out and help start the new puzzle. Exciting isn't...wooohoooo!

Connie...I DID contact the nurses and I am on HOLD...leave messages for them to CALL ME BACK...never get the calls back. I give up. Like I said to Tri****s urgent I will get a call...right???? My family...KMA!!!! I am done with them ALL!!!
I need to do laundry also but just pissed enough to say the hell with it all!!!! As long as I have clean clothes I don't care.

Hi, everyone. I got up early this morning and made myself two cups of decaf and watched TV shows I had DVR'd and then watched some of IN THE KITCHEN WITH DAVID on QVC. I don't know WHY I do that with IN THE KITCHEN. So much of the show focuses on food -- recipes -- etc. Today, I was riveted by a recipe for 3 cheese macaroni and cheese that David said he made on the stove in 15 minutes. The recipe is in his new cookbook -- so, of course, I ordered it. Just what I need: a recipe for easy mac and cheese -- NOT. Oh, well. I think my addiction to food will never really go away. I love to eat and I find myself thinking of all the comfort foods I could have.
So many of us facing challenges these days. It seems as though life just continues to get more complicated. When I think back to my youth, I never even thought about what life might be like when I reached my age. I guess it's probably that way for a lot of people.
I continue to think positive thoughts for you all and am saying special prayers for those that need them.

Judy: I have been dreaming of macaroni and cheese. I used to like the boxed kind and I guess I imagine the homemade versions to be wayyyyy better than the box. I know it would be a waste to make a full batch because I doubt it would freeze very well. (Well, maybe the sauce would freeze OK but I don't know about the cooked macaroni.) Anyway, I may try making a partial batch. It probably is better in my mind's eye than it would be in real life. Maybe I'll just peruse the cookbook and dream over the picture of the macaroni and cheese. (Hopefully, it will be a close-up shot so I can drool over the gooey cheese.) Ha Ha Yeah, I know I am sick!

Hi Cindy.....I am a lover of cooking shows and cookbooks too!! I love Pinterest not just for recipes....they have so many helpful ideas to do things.
I think it is good that we didn't think much about our lives and how things would be now. It is so hard for everyone now to have a decent retirement. Both spouses must work and then it is hard to save. I hate to think of where all this is going!!!

Connie, I wonder where the future is headed as well -- in every way. All we really have is the moment and the future is yet to be discovered.
I've never been on Pinterest. I've heard about it though. About how you can find good ideas there.
