Update from Chiro
Evenin' sistas!
Okay, to be brief, Butch has vertebral sublaxation and bone spurs. His lower spine has developed a pretty severe curve and his hipbones are way out of whack. In other words, years of damage to his lower spine. No wonder the poor man is in agony. Dr. Curley thinks she can help relieve some of the pain, but some of the damage (such as degenerating discs) is irreversible. Butch will be going 3x a week initially, and she'll re-evaluate after the 9th visit.
I have a straight neck! Who knew? My neck is supposed to have a curve in it, but it doesn't. So it pulls and causes tension and pain in my shoulder area. I also have a small bone spur in the vertebrae in my neck. BUT, the good news is my shoulder joint is fine. No sublaxation, no arthritis, nothing. It's all in my bursis (so I DO have bursitis) and my neck.
We both had our first adjustments today, and then a session with the electrodes and hot and cold packs. Butch says he already feels so much better after his adjustment. Me? I just feel really, really sore! Maybe it will get better after our appointment tomorrow.
So, that's the report for today. I'm already in my jammies. I'm going to cross stitch a little while and go to bed early. Love you all!
Hello Vickie.....sorry I couldn't get on my computer last night to answer your post. I never know when it will work or not.
No wonder Butch is in so much pain. I can relate!! There isn't anything they can do about degenerating discs. I have it in my neck and back. The arthritis is horrible too. It is so painful. I am so happy you have none of these issues. Praise God! Bursitis they can work with. I am so happy for you!
Love you much....HUGS....connie d
