Happy Saturday everyone!

Hello sistas!

Surprised that no one has started the thread yet.  I hope that means that everyone is busy and happy today!

I am channeling my inner toymaker today.  Trying to finish up Benny's red giraffe for his b-day party tomorrow.  I have all the little piece made and stuffed.  Now it's time for the hand-sewing part, which I hate because I'm not very skilled at it.  But I do think he's turning out rather cute.  I'll post pics on FB when I'm done.

Also doing the laundry this morning, but just put the last load in the dryer, so I'm almost done with that.

Waiting on Carrie to get here this afternoon.  I want her to help me rearrange some of the furniture in the soon-to-be sewing room and living room.  Been hoping that Butch would feel up to it, but that's not happening anytime soon, so maybe Carrie and I can do it ourselves.

So, for the past several days I've been nervous, high-strung, irritable, prone to tears, and HUNGRY for SWEETS.  Guess what I realized last night?  I haven't been taking my hormones at night for the past couple of weeks.  I guess ever since we got back from vacation!   Good lord.  It's like I've had terminal PMS for the past several days.  Now I see why.  When I unpacked from vacation, somehow my Rx bottle of hormone pills didn't make it into my medicine basket (where I keep all my daily pills and supplements) and I just forgot all about them.  Started back on them last night.  Hope my symptoms disappear again soon.

Well, my break is over.  Time to go sew up all those little pieces on that darn red giraffe!  LOL!

Love you all!

Vickie, your pill snafu sounds like something I would do.  LOL.  A couple of weeks ago, I didn't sleep very well - tossed and turned ALL NIGHT long.  It was horrible.  The next morning, I went to my pill container and saw that I had forgotten to take my nighttime meds the night before.  Sometimes, I think I need to tack stuff to my forehead.

Take it easy moving that furniture around.  Do you have the glide things that go under the legs of furniture to they can easily be moved on wood or laminate floors?  (I think you have wood floors.)  We have carpet and so we can't use those but I wish we could.  Anyway, don't hurt yourself.

I can't wait to see Benny's giraffe on FB.  I wish I knew how to sew -- but I flunked that in school and never tried to learn after that.  When there is sewing to be done in our house, hubby does it.  He has good attention to detail and does an excellent job.  I tend to want to rush the process which makes for mistakes.   Anyway, hope Benny's birthday party is fun for everyone.

Well, it's time for lunch.  Think I'll have some cottage cheese and peaches today.

Hope everyone has a good day today.

Hey Vickie, and OFF Family,

I was at the zoo, first thing this morning.  I volunteered to help at the refreshment table.  We kept filling cups of Gatorade and water.  Izzy ran the girls' race with our pastor, his wife, and their two girls, while Colleen ran the boys race with Lincoln.  After we were all done, we walked around, which Frankie absolutely loved.  He kept wanting to follow the pea****s, which live all over the zoo.

This evening, I'm volunteering at a fund raiser, to redo a city park.  We're having an outdoor movie, and selling snacks.  The movie is free, and the refreshments will be the fund raiser.

Well,

I'd better scoot.

Hugs,

Trish

Good afternoon Vickie and Cindy and all to follow.....

This is my third try at posting today.....the computer keeps locking up!!

Vickie....I can relate with your missing meds. For some reason when I returned from Oregon, I  put my Celexa in with another med I am no longer taking. I couldn't figure out why I seemed more down. I blamed it on the weather. I finally started it again this week. I am feeling so much better already. Hope yours gets regulated again too. I am glad Butch has a doctor appointment. I know he doesn't like it but too bad!! Please keep us updated.

I haven't done much at all today. I went out and helped start another puzzle with a couple of ladies. It was fun. I have been doing odds and ends around here. I am so neat I never have much to do. I have to go through my files and get that done. I was going to do it this weekend but with grandchildren coming and going I will wait until they are gone. I know Nic is coming this week and of course Lucas, Tyler and my Amanda. I am sure Kyleigh will be coming by too. I just love having them here. I can always find space for them!!

Wishing you all a wonderful day!!!

Prayers for our awesome OFF family.

Much love and oodles of hugs....connie d

Hi everyone:

Getting on here late, just had a few free moments and wanted to say hi. Everyone seems busy doing fun things. I'm at work, waiting for a late college baseball game. It just got over, so I should be done so. And that's good because there's not a part of me that doesn't hurt today.

Well, I guess I should sign off and get rid of the last page I have. Have a nice night.
