Happy Thursday everyone....what's new today?

Good morning (barely morning) everyone....

So what is happening with everyone today? 

As for me....not much...that is good. I was busy yesterday until 8:00 PM!! I kept getting company and phone calls and on and on. That was nice but it wore me out. Today I am feeling sick to my stomach and very tired. Hope it passes as the day goes by. I will be staying in my apartment today. I need a quiet uneventful day to myself. 

It was so sunny and gorgeous until about 10 minutes ago. The breeze has picked up and there are lots of dark clouds out there. I am keeping the windows open as long as I can. The breeze feels good and the air smells so fresh!!

As always I am keeping all our sweet OFF family in my prayers.

Connie:  Sorry you're not feeling well today.  Our bodies let us know when it's time to rest -- good for you for listening to your body and taking it easy today. 

It's windy out there today.  57 degrees and it feels good in the sun UNTIL the breeze touches your skin.  Still sweatshirt weather I guess.

My back is feeling better after a couple of weeks of PT.  The PT person wasn't sure she could help me because the problem is a curve in my spine but the exercises ARE HELPING.  I'm so grateful.

Spent yesterday afternoon at the DDS since both hubby and I had an appointment.  Mouth is a bit sore today.  The tooth I just got a crown on is sensitive to everything.  The DDS said that hopefully the sensitivity will die down and go away now that I have the permanent crown on it. 

Not much going on in my world I guess.  Hope everyone has a good day today.

Hi Cindy....thank you...I slept most of the day...I hate when I do that but I just had to today.

So sorry you are dealing with such back pain and then the tooth!! Hope you are feeling better soon. Glad the exercises are working for your back.

I've been useless all day today.  Just tired, and not accomplishing anything.  I was hoping to get some groceries, buy I have to wait till tomorrow morning.

Hi Connie and my OFF family:

I've had a strange day. Got up at 7 a.m. to give my friend Richard a wake-up call; he had a phone interview with a newspaper in Georgia and his alarm wasn't working. So I woke up, called him so he was up and caffeinated enough before the interview. Then I started coughing again and got some cough medicine and went back to sleep til 11:30. 

It's my mom's 90th birthday and I forgot about it until I was at work. So I gave her a quick call to say happy birthday. I'll see her on the weekend.

Anyway, I have to get to work. Just wanted to pop in and say hi.

Hi Eileen....I am glad you got some extra rest today. I hope you night goes well at work too!!

That was really nice of you to wake Richard up. I hope the interview went well. I sure hope he gets the job!

Tell your mom Happy 90th Birthday!! I am sure she will be happy to see you on the weekend! I as so glad your vacation time is almost here!!!

He said the interview went well and felt he could get called back for another interview if he makes the top 2 (to talk to a higher-up). 

Mom was sitting out on the porch when I called her. So she actually got her butt out of the recliner and got outside .... a miracle! 

I figure with Richard, I'm gaining karma points ... I can't help with money but I can drive, wake him up, take him places and if need be, house him. He does come with a 52-inch TV.

Cindy glad the PT is helping the back.  I hate the DDS days and Bill and I both have to go back.  I only have one crown and I have had it reworked 4 times due to sensitivity without luck.

Trish take care of yourself and have an easy day.

Eileen have a good night at work.

Not much going on here.  Had coffee with Bill and than got ready to pick the two boys from school.  Took the out for a early dinner and by than there days made it out of work much earlier than he thought.  So I ran them home as their Dad was only a few minutes out and the 12 year old rather go home than be at my house and he can watch the 5 year old for a short time.

Hi Pine...I have tried three times to reply to you....hope it works this time. I am glad you had a good day. I am sure the boys loved having dinner and spending time with you!
