Good morning sistas!

Wow, what a busy Sunday everyone is having!

We finally made it home about 11 p.m. last night.  We got stuck in Atlanta due to a bad thunderstorm and sat in the plane on the tarmac for about an hour and a half!  Ugh.  But other than that one snafu, the trip went just fine.

Our house and our bed sure did look good to us when we rolled in.  We rented a car at the airport (because we didn't want to pay to park our car there for a month), so we have to return it to the airport today.  And then we are going to Christie's house for a late lunch/early dinner and to visit with them and the boys.  Chris says that Benny is bouncing off the walls with excitement.  I can't wait for my hugs and kisses!

So while we were at the BZ airport yesterday awaiting our flight, I found a stuffed black panther in the gift shop.  You remember that Chris said Benny wants a "black lion" and a "red giraffe" for his birthday?  Perfect!  I snapped it up, plus a green sea turtle stuffie for Budder.  Benny's birthday is Jun 24th, so I'll wait to give it to him then.  Now to find a red giraffe.  Heaven help!

(Just FYI--when Chris was Benny's age, she got it into her head that she wanted a "wind up choo-choo train".  Believe it or not, I did find one.  Oh, the things our little ones' minds can dream up.)

Anyway, I need to wrap up their gifts from BZ, shower, and then get ready to go, so I'll cut this short for today.  Love you all!

Hi Vickie: just Google "giraffe sewing pattern" and quite a few hits come up...go to images to see what stuffed plushie looks like, and if you have a remnant of red fabric or even buy some , you could sew up your own red giraffe probably in less time than it would take hunting through stores for something that might not exist.

Good luck!

That's a great suggestion, Jennifer!  I might just try it.  I made an elephant and a bear when Chris was expecting Benny.  I suspect I could make a giraffe, too.  Thanks!
