Good morning everyone....
I am having a quieter day today. I way over did it yesterday. All my winter blankets and laundry is done!!!
I slept really bad last night. I was so tired I felt ill. I kept waking up. The last time I looked at the clock it was 4:00 AM. I will try to nap some this afternoon.
I really don't have anymore news. I am giving Nic my car. I just have to cut costs somewhere. I have no debt. The upkeep of a car is now too much for me. I will be fine!!

Sorry you are giving up your car, but you gotta do what you gotta do. I understand.
Not much going on here. I'm about to do battle with the FSA folks over a denial of services on my glasses. It's a limited FSA for vision and dental. The denial was for glasses. ... they are supposed to pay for this. They have done it every other year. I don't understand why they're not paying for it now.
Anyway, other than that, I'm at work. A few more days and I'm on vacation. Can't wait. Haven't had a vacation since August (other than the day off I took when I had the cold, which counts against my vacation days).

They've already paid for it (it's a credit card thing and then you have to prove you used it for the right purpose). Otherwise, you have to pay back. Well, every year I've gotten glasses, proved that I got glasses and they said fine. Now they're saying it was for cosmetic purposes. Bifocals? Cosmetic? I know I also got sunglasses, but I got those with my prescription so they aren't cosmetic.
Connie, I'm going to Chicago for a couple of days to see my mom for her 90th birthday ... big party (actually an open house). Bad thing is there's no place for me to stay so I have to spring for a motel, so that's a big chunk of change. Then my brother and I are going to Springfield, Ill., to see all the sights on the Abraham Lincoln tour... couple of years ago, we saw the Lincoln Museum and Gary wanted to go back. I had seen a lot of the other stuff when I was in high school, but it's been 40 years. He got the lodging through his timeshare, we'll get free breakfast there and then we'll only have to pay for dinner. Most of the attractions are free, too.

Keep fighting for those glasses! I was reminded about a joke: why do we have Insurance? For peace of mind! But when you need to collect, Insurance will find every way to weasel out of paying you, so why bother. Problem is, we keep paying for the insurance for the peace of mind!
Enjoy your holiday time home with your Mom on a milestone birthday, (at least you won't be on a blowup bed like before) and your cultural visit with your brother. You've worked hard for this break!
Drive safely and hope you have good driving weather, not too hot, and dry roads without much traffic...

Evening OFF family...Had a day from HELL!!!!!!!! NO INTERNET at work AGAIN!!!!!!! I HATE FRONTIER!!!!!!!!!! EIGHT towns are without!!!!!!!!! WTH??????? I have my Time Warner at home...Office said I could bring my work home and do it...OH HELL NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NOT Going to start that on MY PC!!!!!!!!!!!!! NO WAY!!!!!!!!!!!! I do NOT play my games nor do I do MY internet stuff on THEIR PC!!!!!!!! So that is that!!!!!! They want to be CHEAP and give me ****ty FRONTIER I will go without work!!!!!!!!!
Insurance guy I was supposed to meet here at 10 am never showed up nor did he call. Screwed up my whole day. I could have gone to Chiro dr in the morning and also the bank. But he was due here at 10 am so I waited and waited...no show no call!!!!!!!!! So I STILL do not have health insurance. Will I call that insurance company??? NO!!!!!! KMA!!!!!!!! OBAMA...KMA!!!!!!!! One of my tenants was telling me she can hook me up with help when I turn 62 in November to get my cateract surgery. FINE. Its all I need. I can wait. SIGHS.
So this was my day....no news on Sandi yet today. Prayers continue. Thankyou all!!!!!!!!!

Judy....what is going on...no internet again? We don't have Frontier around here so I can't comment on that. They sure have lousy service!!
No way would I use your own personal PC for work. When I worked from home they gave me a laptop. That worked great. Once you start using your service your company will never get around to getting your Frontier set up. I hope you are keeping a journal of all this.
Your insurance guy doesn't seem any better. Not even a phone call. What a jerk!!
