Ahhhh Tuesday, What's Up?
Hi Carla and my OFF family:
Getting on here late ... had a busy day. Took my vacuum cleaner into the shop to get it working again .... hope they can get it working again. I told the woman there what was the problem and she said it probably needed to be cleaned out and it would cost $20. Then I picked up Richard and off we went on his errands. Busy day! But we started out by having lunch at this Mexican restaurant we like (and I had a coupon), then went shopping. I didn't need much (but still spent enough on a very little). After Walmart, he wanted to go to Sam's for a few things ... didn't take long there. Then it was home to unpack the car. He had a lot of stuff. We were both pooped by the time it was all over. I had considered getting my hair cut but by the time I was done, I didn't have enough left (because I have to save that money to pay for my vacuum cleaner). When I got home, Juliette was all over me. You would have thought I'd been gone for a year! I got such a greeting ... kisses and purring and meows. Just so happy to see me! Whoever thinks cats are aloof is full of it.
Anyway, hope everyone is doing OK ... I know Connie is still in pain. I'm doing better now that I've been on Cymbalta for a few weeks. My knee was hurting me when I got home but it's OK now. I even forgot about the ice pack. Oh well. Carla, glad you got rid of your headache.
Judy, rest up after all those procedures. My doc doesn't even want me doing anything after a colonoscopy .... they drug you so much you're sleepy. After I have my pain shots, I'm so loopy I'm not sure where I am. I don't know how you are doing any work at all. Hope all comes back OK. Swinging those chickens for you.
Anyway, back to the baseball game. One on TV, one on my Kindle Fire. Have a good night. Sorry, I can't remember who else posted ... short memory span.
Hi Eileen,
I have loved watching the Phillies games right on my TV these days. Prior to Mothers Day, I'd been connecting my laptop right to my HDTV. But, now, with the Apple TV gizmo, I just switch the HDMI, and connect to MLB.TV and use their app right on the screen. I plan on downloading all the network apps, and getting rid of cable for my living room. Unfortunately, the TV in my bedroom is from before Hi Def, so I need basic cable there for now.
Hope your knee feels better.
Hugs,
Trish
