Please Pray

Please pray for my church's assistant pastor, and his family.  Nate and Erin got married last July.  She's 38, and was due to deliver their first child at the end of July.  Yesterday, her blood pressure shot up, and they had to do an emergency C-section.  Baby weighs 2 pounds 15 ounces.  Erin's still unable to visit the NICU, and Nate is unable to hold their precious daughter.  

I've been an emotional mess all day.  All weepy.  Since February, Colleen's sis-in-law died, leaving a precious newborn boy, her niece spent 11 days in a NICU in March, and now this.  When I was 9 months pregnant with Colleen, my blood pressure skyrocketed.  The doc wanted to admit me, but I fell apart, and they told me to go home, and stay on bedrest.  I went into labor the next day, and Colleen was born the following morning.That was the first time I'd ever heard of pre-eclampsia.  I was 18 years old, 3000 miles from home, and my family, and absolutely terrified.

So, please pray for these precious young Moms, and their tiny, precious babies.

Trish.....I will be praying for these mom's and babies. What a heartbreaking situations.

In my thoughts and prayers. They will need to watch mom carefully for awhile since preeclampsia can lead to post delivery complications.  They are able to do so much for the tiny ones these days. So there is much to hope for.
