Happy Tuesday!
Good morning Carla and my sistas!
Carla, migraines are the worst! So glad yours is gone now.
We passed a very decent night here at the farm. I was worried about us not having any AC here last night, but it was okay. It cools off here at night and with the fans we were comfortable, if just a bit sticky. I know I was covered up by this morning.
I've told on FB that Belize is on Central Standard Time, but does not subscribe to the lunacy that is Daylight Savings time. So it gets light here early. Very early. Like 5:30 a.m. early. I swear, that damn rooster has been crowing since 5 a.m.! LOL!
We are very much impressed with the farming district here in Belize. It's beautiful country and so much less (I'm sorry, this is going to sound awful) poverty and trashiness than you find on the coast. I don't mean that in a disrespectful way. It's just that this area is obviously more prosperous. This area of Belize is heavily populated with Mennonites and the farms are clean and well kept. The roads are even better! Not so many speed bumps and no pot holes! LOL!
Today we are going to explore. I love these days! Butch is such a great traveling companion. We have plans to go see a couple of developments that are specifically designed for gardening and farming. And we're going to explore a couple of the nearby Mayan Ruins. Should be a fun day!
Love you all!
Good morning off friends!
What a truly gorgeous spring day in Michigan partly sunny here comfortably warm witha nice breeze! The trees are leafing out in many shades of green and the blooming ones are truly blooming with their soft scents!! I do love spring!
Still total chaos at my house. Our young babysitter for our trip found out she was being put on the street by sheriffs order while we were gone. she had paid her rent had her receits but the landlord didn't pay mortgage and knew of the eviction but didn't tell her so while we were gone she hooked up the our trailer to our van and loaded up all her gear, the sherriff officers were very kind in helping her, and now her and her son are staying us and her gear is all piled in the trailer in our garage I have a houseful!!
Hope all friends here have a great day! got babies hollering to go out!!!
Morning OFF family,
I'm coming from the land of the lost...or should I say the world of an 18 year old girl!!!! WOW. between senior prom, and Krissy's birthday it's been crazy around here. I worked my butt off on mother's day because my mil likes to have every one over for lunch. She is ninety so of course I did a ton of work. My husband owes me big time. Krissy's boyfriend moved in with us, he moved from Chicago, 2 weeks ago, (separate bedrooms of course). He is looking for work and wants to be a police officer. They are very young not sure where this will go but I didn't want her in Chicago...I'd rather have her here in case they don't work out we can put him on a plane and I don't have to worry about her. They met when he was living her over a year ago and have continued the relationship.
Carla, I'm so sorry to hear about your migraine. I know first hand how horrible they can be and I'm so happy your feeling better.
Vickie, it sure sounds like your having a great time. My bags are packed when do you two want company?!?!?! LOL
Still quilting my heart out. I pray all is well with everyone.
Big Hugs,
Debbie

It is going to be hell traveling ill just have to travel with my medifast. Im flying to Denver for a long weekend. Then we are going to Chicago for ten days to see Vinnie and for fathers day! Thats a food jungle there but i will survive!!!!! I can do this!!!!!!
Carla
Good afternoon Carla and everyone...
Carla....glad the headaches have ended....wow....three days!! Good luck with your weight loss. Hope you don't need surgery again.
Vickie....enjoy your day at the farming area. Sounds like something Butch will like for sure!
Judy...obviously you still can't get on OFF....we miss you!
Debbie....oh the land of teenagers...I remember those days well. Most were great days....some not so much. I am glad you didn't give up on the quilting!!
Jo....I hope your babysitter can find a place to live. That poor girl. She must have been so worried!
As for me...I had fasting labs this morning. They poked me with a needle and the blood just gushed. They had a hard time stopping it. Between that and huge nasty bruises I always get on my arms, they had me go across the hall to my clinic and have the nurse document what is happening. The doctor's office just called and I need to go have more blood drawn. I just let Kyleigh take my car to go to school and then to do her laundry. I will have to wait until tomorrow to get the blood drawn. What ever the test is for, they can't use the same blood that they had already drawn. Lucky me!! I am kind of concerned about this!
I wish you all a beautiful day!!!
Prayers for our wonderful OFF family!
Love and lots of hugs to all....connie d
Connie,
I drew labs from people for years. Yes they do need to draw different tubes. Some tests require blood that has the red blood cells separated from the serum. Others have to be done on blood that is not clotted t all. That is probably needed since they might be worried about the time it takes your blood to clot. Hope it all works out.
Thank you Francine....I am a bit worried but I am trying not to dwell on it. I am just more fatigued then ever. We thought it was just my Fibromyalgia. I have chills and no appetite. I couldn't even eat on Mothers Day....I just pushed food around. It has been like this for a while. I manage to get my protein in with drinks. I feel nauseous most times too. Plus the thin blood and bruising...hmmmmmm!!!
Thanks for the reply.
Love and more hugs...connie d
Hi Carla and my OFF family:
It's my weekend and I'm trying to do not much at all. I do have a load of laundry in ... but that's not too taxing. Which is good because I have a headache and still feel crappy. Yellow gunk coming out of my nose and I'm just very sleepy. So far not coughing a lot, but then I'm not talking, either. I think that helps.
Last night was a ***** at work. All of my stories on the one paper's cover were late; on the other paper, two were late. So I was shuffling six late stories coming in at 10:30 or later. Plus other inside stuff such as baseball games, basketball games, etc. Fortunately, this time I had some help. But then I also had some computer issues that came up. What fun!
Saturday I bought a slab of ribs from this juvenile diabetes fundraiser. Yesterday, I warmed up three of them ... my God, they were huge! I was able to eat only two. I'm going to be eating these for a while. I may have to freeze a portion of these. What a good buy this was ... $20 for a slab (no sauce on them, but I have BBQ sauce).
Vickie, I love reading about your adventures.
Carla, I also have regained and need to get it off. I need to talk with my doc about this.
Connie, I hope you have a good day ... I can't remember what you wrote! CRS!
Well, have a good day everyone ... can't remember who else posted.
