I had a rough day yesterday.....I went to the bank with Kyleigh. We were there about 10 minutes and I got hit hard with the flu!! I barely made it to the restroom. I didn't know whether to sit or stand. I am glad Kyleigh was there to drive me home. I went right to bed and pretty much stayed there the whole day and night. I am feeling weak this morning but definitely a bit better. I will be taking it easy today! 

Sorry I haven't been answering everyone's posts...I just haven't had the energy. I will try to do better with that. You all know I care very much.

Hello Carla and Connie and all my OFF sistas!

I only have a minute's worth of juice left in my laptop battery, so this will be quick.  Connie, honey, I hope you get better soon.

We are truly enjoying our vacation in Belize.  Yeah, we have a daily mishap or two, but that's part of travel.  For the most part we are just blown away by the beauty that is Belize.  This week we are in the southern part, along the coast.  Cooling sea breezes, sparkling blue water, and lots of coconut rum!  LOL!  

We did find one development in northern Belize that we just fell in love with, but we are sticking to our plan to explore the whole country before making any decisions.  I have to admit, the sea side is very lovely.  (Up north we would be on Corozal Bay, also lovely, but not quite the same as the beach.)

My incision is still not healed, dammit.  The culprit is my old belly button.  yes, i have another damn hole!  It just won't scab over and heal.  I will go wading in the water today, but no submerging my whole body yet.  But i AM going snorkling in a couple of weeks, no matter what.  I brought some liquid bandage with me to seal it off, and it's supposed to be waterproof, so maybe.  In the meantime, I'll play it safe.

It sounds like you are having a wonderful time!! I appreciate you taking the time to post pics on FB too. That is awesome!!!

I hope you got to get your feet in the water. I am sure it was warm and the sand was beautiful too.

Please be very cautious of getting that ocean water in your body. There is so much living in tha****er. I worry about you getting an infection!! Please be extra careful!!

Hi Carla and my OFF family:

I've been sick the past couple days with the crud that's been going around the office. Yesterday was the worst of it. No energy, lots of coughing, a sinus headache most of the day, ears popping, etc. Today, not as bad, but still coughing and dripping nose. I need to go out today to get some stuff ... going to try to drag Richard out of his dungeon too. Otherwise he doesn't go out at all.

I woke up at 1 a.m. hacking and wheezing ... had to take some more cough medicine to stop it. Went back to sleep and then got up at 6:30 and couldn't get back to sleep. So I got up and made coffee, stripped the bed and had breakfast. So I've been up since then.

Connie, hope you feel better. Carla, have fun at the mall. Vickie, I love your stories. Trish, hope you feel better. I'd cancel the party.

Hello Eileen...so sorry you are not feeling well. I am sure you are miserable with the runny nose, headaches, coughs and wheezing. 

I hope you are able to get some much needed rest.

Hi Connie:

I was feeling good when I went out ... by the time I got back, I was miserable. I only went to one store (Target) for some stuff and really got some good deals. And I stopped by Richard's to give him the Diet Pepsis I bought for him last week at CVS (it's his caffeine choice). And then stopped by the post office to mail a card to my mom. Couldn't convince Richard to go out with me. It was warm out, 85. I wanted to stop and get my pre-med for my dental appointment next week (I need it because of my knee replacements) but there was a line at the drive-thru at Walgreens and no one was coming to the windows, so I finally said screw it and went home. I really felt miserable when I got home ... had dinner and then took a nap and then felt a little better. My ears are all plugged up again now.

Sorry you are all suffering with the crud. My roommate has had it for two weeks,  ever since the baby shower and as sh said "the family loving and hugging and kissing" on her.  She is still hacking and snotting around. So far i am holding my own with just the normal allergy sniffing.  

Went out today and made a mistake eating two Chinese spare ribs. Now eat very little meat...well my stomach is still turning flip flops. Oh well, live and learn. 

Did something that made me feel very powerful and in control (at least a little)  of my finances. It really felt good and i would never have considered it before. it is a bit unsettling, but wow, if i am going thru all this to lose weight, i can do this to control my finances.  

Well, please take care of yourselves and feel better soon.

Hi Francine....I pray you don't catch that crud from your roommate. Keep your Lysol handy....follow her around if you need too!!

I am glad you are taking charge of your finances. Between the weigh loss and the $$ you will do great!!! I wish you the best!
