Retirement Day Wednesday!!!

Vickie: retired one day and off on vacation the next....what a great life!  Watch out for those biting sandflies at the beaches....have a great time....You must realize its a huge milestone for Butch, which probably explains his  frittering  valuable   time away, bet he's stressed even though it is his idea to go to Belize.

Connie, so glad you wont be running across the street to take care of your sister.  Take care of yourself first, you are allowed not to be a doormat.

Good news, am returning to ( part time)work, but think  will probably phase out completely by end of year as need to take things easy and get rid of work related stress. 

Am aching all over from the cool rainy weather...we are in for quite a few rainy days, so figure will have to dig out some pain meds as have to get up early for work, wont be able to sleep till 10-11 am and go to the pool to get the kinks out, something Ill be able to do every day when fully retired.

I put all my liquids in my checked baggage.   I do take a chap stick on and I buy water in the airport after security.   Since my trip to China, I have not had to go through full security; they just scan my carryon bag and I walk through a metal detector, which is so nice.    I've been asked to run to Belize this summer and participate in a community project two of our colleges are doing but I am scheduled to have surgery in July so I won't be able to make that trip.   I have been to Belize a few times and you are going to love the touristy places.    Just remember that poverty is high so you might seen animals and homeless people being treated really badly.   But, the cops do keep most of that away from the touristy areas.   I usually end up giving money away to children and buying dog and cat food for all the strays. LOL.

Have fun and don't forget to use sun screen.
