Good Morning OFF Family,

Well,

Last night's Phillies game started 30 minutes earlier than the previous four, but still ended after 1:00, and they didn't go into overtime.  Argh.  They lost as well.  Oh well, the season just started.

I hope everyone is okay, and just busy with good stuff happening.  It's been quiet here this week.  I'm praying everyone is okay.

I ended up not making it to church last night.  Today is crazy busy.  First, I have Lincoln's soccer game.  Then, I'll be heading over to the church for the missions conference. Somewhere in there, I do have to get to RiteAid, and pick up some toiletries.  I get 20% off all regular priced items there with my Wellness Card with them.  

Frankie's birthday is next Saturday.  I need to get some cash, as other than a couple of books, I'm giving the kids money, to put toward a nice, wooden playset for the back yard.  I thought I sent Colleen's Dad an e-mail suggesting it, but haven't heard from him, so I have no clue if he got it.

Morning OFF family...been missing in action here sorry...been depressed I guess. Just the news of my last pap test and my last tenant passing away just all ganged up on me...having several empty apartments also doesn't help either!!! They all and want 2-3 bedroom and we do not have them here. All we have are one bedroom. I can only put two people in those and then they want to sneak a baby in also...no can do!!! then they have a pet...ok...its a cat. OK...well then they want to let it run around outside. NO. You have it INSIDE only here. That is our rule. They do not like that. Or they have a dog. OK. How big? 60lbs. Sorry...we only take 40lbs or less here...or they have more than one dog. Sorry ONE pet here allowed. We are NOT a pet friendly complex. Not my rules. Or they have a puppy...what kind? Husky. Well it will grow to be MORE than 40 pounds...well she is less than that now...OMG people!!!!!! Then we also have a $35 application fee now. They take the application and never come back. I have no clue how to get these people to come back and get an apartment here!!! And those that DO come back have criminal back ground or bad credit and fail the back ground checks!!!!!! So its not my fault the apartments are not being rented...I am stressing out big time. Then the tenant that lives behind us...she USED to be my friend also...she THINKS she is the manager at times...lets her guests park where they want...her aids also park where they want...yet when someone else parks where they shouldn't she is on the phone calling me to complain!!!!!! I point out to her that HER people park where THEY want yet SHE doesn't stop them from parking where they shouldn't...she hangs up on me...yes this is the one that also lost her daughter then her mom and now her sister...she is doing a whoa is me pity party to whoever will listen to her...yes we all feel sorry for her and her loss but her playing the pity party for herself is going overboard. She has aids that come to help her several times a week and she uses them like MAIDS and she is bucking the system. She DOES have some health problems BUT come on!!!!!!!!!! We have some tenants here that are in worse shape than she is and have no help at all!!! I am sorry that I feel this way towards her at this time but he has really pushed my buttons for the last time!!!!!! She also tells people about apartments and how the rents go and the rest of things...WHICH she has NO IDEA what is AVAILABLE right now!!!!!!!! And WHY these new perspective tenants are going to HER is beyond me...I know I am not always in my office and she does live right next to the office...I have even TOLD her NUMEROUS times SHE is NOT the manager here I AM!!!!!! Does it sink in???? NO! She was even told she couldn't get a dog unless it was a CERTIFIED therapy dog. She rescued a dog. Said it is THERAPY to HER!!!! Ever since she went over my head and got this dog our friendship ended. This dog is a barker also. Barks at anything that moves. Mind you this woman complained about another tenants dog that barked like hers does now...she laughs and thinks "Buddy" is cute...yeah right. Then she has this tie out for him which goes out OVER the sidewalk. WRONG!!!!!! My boss was here one time and saw that dog out over the walk...guess who got told to make her fix that? Yuppers ME!!!!! So I had to tell her to shorten that tie out so that dog could NOT go out over the sidewalk. She knew he wasn't supposed to go out like that. She was just doing it HER way!!!!!!!! But when I told her it was per My BOSS she complied. WTH????????? Then there is the deal with health insurance...I STILL do NOT have any!!! What I can afford a month the deductables...I might as well pay for my cateract surgery out of my own pocket!!!!!! OBAMA I really hate your guts!!!!!!! OK I complained enough here...SORRY!!!!

Weather here has been cold. Had some rain yesterday and that made most of my tenants that played bingo stay away. Had 5 show up. Made some money for their fund but THEY are the ones that WANT to play!!!!! Go figure.

Made our vacation RSVP's for JUNE!!!!!!!! YES!!!!!!!!!!!!! We are counting down the days!!!!!!!!!! Starts off we are going to the Michigan NASCAR race on Fathers day. Have to come back home and then Monday I have a dentist appointment. Then Tuesday morning we leave for Michigan. We will drive as far as Saginaw and stay over night there and then Wednesday head out for Mackinaw City and stay there for a few nights and then head back to Saginaw Saturday and stay there for my granddaughters graduation party on Sunday and then head home on Monday. We are really looking forward to this trip!!! Going to take Rick up to the SOO and show him the locks...be interesting. Bandit is also going with us.

Well time to get dressed and see what we are going to do for the day...I know I am going to Bingo tonight...next week is the last one...last week I won the jackpot...$118.00...wooohooo!!! Rick said he is going to put my new porch glider together. I already put the word out it is MINE to sit on!!!!!!!! Any tenant found sitting on it dies!!!!!! We have two chairs on our patio and we sit out there and if I go inside a minute and come back out...there in MY chair sits a tenant!!!!!!!! SO if ANY tenant sits on MY glider....BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I WILL RAISE HELL TRUST ME!!!!!!!!

OK Aren't you all happy I stopped in today????? Bet not.

Tri****hink giving money toward a playset is a great idea....good for you. You are as busy as always!

Judy...you poor dear. I really wish you would go look into another place to run. That is getting more and more insane around there. Prayers for you every day!

Vickie asked me to let everyone know she will be back in town probably by tomorrow. She hasn't baled on us!

As for me...not doing well...my meds are changed and my depression is bad. I just haven't had any energy to post....sorry.

I am really really happy here!!!! Honest!!! Its just that we need some time away from here to regroup ya know? We have been through so much and not ANY time to ourselves it seems!!! Being on call 24/7 does take its toll on a person and trust me it is time for us now!!! Come on JUNE!!!!!!!! LOL

Hi Trish and my OFF family:

Tri**** was a good night for Chicago sports last night: Bulls won, Blackhawks won in OT and White Sox won on a walk-off grand slam by rookie Jose Abreu. Love this Sox team ... they have some fight in them. And then the Scrubs lost (not a Cubs fan). So just perfect. 

I too have a grand to get a birthday gift for, my grandnephew Ben ... he'll be 14 on Tuesday ... He's a big, big boy, taller than his dad now and still growing. He was a 12-pound baby. Can't get him anything until Thursday, though; don't have any money. He's on Facebook, so I'll wish him a happy birthday there and send his gift a little late. He's getting a gift card. I don't know what to buy those kids and they love the gift cards.

Judy, you have a crazy job. I would want to run away from there, too, every day. I like people but those people are nuts. 

Connie, I'm sorry you're feeling so down. I wish I could do something for you. Do you have a DVD player? Perhaps you could watch a funny movie .... "Bull Durham" always cheers me up. But you may have something else. You need to laugh. Or some chocolate. 

I konked my head on the top of my car door frame yesterday. It still really hurts. No headache or anything, it just hurts when I touch it. I keep a package of instant ice packs in my drawer at work, so I broke open one of those and held it on there for awhile. It helped get me through the night.

Well, I have a long night ahead of me ... eight pages. I got a lot of it laid out last night because I had a light night last night. I laid out seven pages last night (didn't want do it all and have our designer grousing about having nothing to do). 

It's supposed to be in the 80s here the next couple of days. I decided to shave my legs and now they're itchy. Oh well, they'll calm down eventually.

Good afternoon Trish, Judy, Connie, and other OFF family to come, 

Trish, sounds like a wonderful gift for the grand kids. Judy, i am so sorry you are having such a terrible time with your tenants and occupancy rate. I hope all turns out well with your pap. You are in my prayers and i was glad to hear from you. To be honest i was getting concerned when we hadn't heard from you for the last few days, so no more rock hiding for too long. I hope you get your glider and can get some enjoyment out of it without being bothered by the tenants.

Connie, it is so difficult when going thru a medication adjustment.  Remember,  it can take up to 90 days to get the medication levels to the best level in your system.  I hope you feel better soon.

I have been ok. Still going to the gym three to four times a week. However, only twice this week. Was going to go today, but my BP is too low. Apparently i have lost enough weight to need another BP medication adjustment.  Maybe I can get off one or more of them. Also need an insulin adjustment. See PCP Tuesday.  

Today will be laundry and wrapping day. Claire and i are driving to Cinci, actually a little dot on the map out side Cincinnati called Felicity. We are attending her granddaughter' s baby shower. It is at the church she and the papa to be have attended since they were babies. They have invited 200, yes, 200 people!!!! They are serving a pasta for lunch and it is at 1 pm, right after church. God knows how many people will stay over for the party. Being from a small town, i know something like this can be the main social event for the month.

I was able to find gifts in the closeout section at a grocery store i go to all the time. I bought two packs of 80 count baby wipes, one pink one blue (we don't know the baby's gender )for $0.97 each. The real steal was two little sleepers and three pairs of blue jean shorts (size NB, 3 month, and 6 month ) all by Carter and $0.99 each!!!! So today i will wrap, actually put in a gift bag i got with 4 others for 5/$0.99. It is always fun to get a package ready and see it be opened. But 200 people for a baby shower, REALLY.

See PCP and WL Surgeon this week. Should be an interesting week.

Happy Saturday everyone just got done cleaning bathroom and kitchen and mopping started a 5 am couldnt sleep took a walk in between noe i think ill grab some food.

Hi Everyone: 

Getting on here late. Have been bothered by side effects from my post cancer meds, hot flushes and sweats big time. Last night even missed farewell party for couple of friends leaving the building for early retirement out East. I was wet with perspiration, then freezing cold, so lay down to let it pass  and slept till midnight on sofa. Missed the party.  Today same thing happened when friend came for a late lunch, couldn't wait for her to leave and think I telegraphed that to her.....was hot and cold several times, and very uncomfortable.  My menopause was easier than this! Seems the side effects of meds blocking cancer are finally here as the hots/colds happen suddenly and several times a day, including in bed at night, waking me!

Hi Trish!

I have been flying by your place one or twice a day.  We have a very experience buck Pygmy Goat that is a Master Permanent Champion.  He was looking great and we had planned to take him to the Nationals this June.  He got sick Friday before Easter and the out Vet gave him an antibiotic shot.  He was getting worse so we ran him the the Vet clinic at MSU.  Yesterday the vet prepared us for his passing as they can't figure out what is wrong with him.  Today something were a little better but, know he is getting a fever.  We had just got him to start eating.  Losing him will devastate Bill.

So we just keep going back and forth burning up I-69 and flying by Exit 105 to try to get him eating.  He perks up while Bill is there.
