It is Friday...what's new??
Ok, third attempt to post to all my OFF family, so i will make this short.
First, thank for your prayers for my uncle. I spoke to him yesterday and he is doing great (can.
Second, i am doing pretty good with diet, exercise and slow and steady weight loss.
Third, i am so missing my mom and dad. Easter was always a huge event at our home. New dresses, usually made by my mom ~all matching, new shoes, hats, and beautiful coursages for my mom and each of us girls, Easter baskets and dinner. I miss my mom and dad, and know my dad is getting mom a corsage in heaven.
Fourth, Claire and are going to a buffet and i got them to agree to charge me the children's price.
And finally, i want to wish each of you and your families a very joyous, peaceful, and blessed Passover and Easter.

Post Script: I am exhausted! Chris and Mike and the boys just now left. (It's 8 p.m.) I ended up cooking supper for everyone. It wasn't much supper--just hotdogs and mac 'n cheese, but I am wrung out! And then Butch volunteered to let the boys spend the night here tomorrow night because Chris and Mike both have to close! I could have strangled him. I asked him if HE was going to be the one to get up with Budder in the middle of the night. And he said, "no, we'll let Carrie do it." Oh, she'll love that.
Anyway, I'm headed to bed just as soon as I get the kitchen cleaned up. Just wanted to ***** a minute. I love that man, but sometimes . . . ! Like Judy says, "free to good home!" LOL!
