Hoppy Saturday!
Good morning sistas!
I'm up super early again. Woke up at 5 a.m. and realized that I forgot to start the Eagle Brand cooking overnight for my dulce de leche! Oh my. I had planned to make my Banoffee Pie this morning (for tomorrow), but will have to make it this afternoon instead. Takes a min. of 8 hours to carmelize Eagle Brand in the slow cooker.
Oh, we had fun yesterday with the boys, but I was exhausted by last night. It's no wonder I am tired all the time. Just having one week off without them was sheer heaven. I'm still a little ticked at Butch for volunteering us to keep them overnight tonight. Hmph. It's EASY for him. When he gets ready to go to bed, he just goes to bed. And sleeps all night! Damn men. It's the women who get up and down with the babies all night long.
(I will say, he is good with them during the day, though.)
I've been reading more about safety issues and crime in Belize and some of what I read has me really thinking hard. Lots of gang related crime (although mainly in the big cities) and that's not really an issue with us. But also lots of drug trafficking--not so much that drugs are manufactured in Belize, but they are transported through the country from South America up to Mexico. Hmmm. Have to really think about that one.
On the other hand, I've been looking at real estate in Belize and have seen several places that would just be wonderful (at least on "paper"--such as the internet is now) and look very enticing. Well, we will just have to get down there next month and see what we think. I still don't think I want to live in the jungle!
Carrie arrives this afternoon. I will be so happy to see her again. I love my mom, but she is driving me bats. It will be better with Carrie here to "divert" some of her attention! LOL! (Poor Carrie!)

Well not sure what we will be doing today...its supposed to be very nice here...sort of overcast right now...I do know I AM going to Bingo tonight and hope I WIN...LOL
Last night Rick was hungry for Chinese food...OMG...so we ordered ala cart...I got chicken wings...LOL I CAN eat those!!! 
When I got back from getting the food we all ordered...Mike was also included in our order...found out Diane (another tenant here that he has been seeing and helping out asked him for her key back and omg the world came to and end!!) Anyhow her caregiver/live in boyfriend? took off earlier in the day has not answered her calls or has come back...(still not back yet this morning yet either) and has just got out of jail for DUI a couple weeks ago. Makes us wonder if he was picked up for yet another DUI???? Anyhow Mike is soooooo in love with Diane. He has taken care of he while this drunk was in jail for 3 weeks. Diane has MS and can't get around good. Breaks my heart to see how she just treated him!! I told him leave her alone and let her think about what she just threw away!! Don't JUMP when she calls and needs your help. She needs to get rid of this drunken bum that is supposed to be taking care of he!!! He also has her truck that USED to be a nice truck!! What a shame!!!
Well time to get my butt in gear and get dressed for the day...I opened the place up but not really dressed...LOL Thankyou all for the thoughts and Prayers!!! I sure do appreciate them!!!

That's OK Vic...I know you are in it for me...LOL what gets me is this was the LAST one I had to have come back NORMAL and then back to ONCE a year....GRRRRRRR WHY me?????????? GRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Seems it has always been like this for me but now that I had to have that dam leap surgery this now worries me to death!! So I will TRY not to worry til after I talk to my surgeon again on the 20th of May. (key word is TRY)

Vickie...sorry you have the boys tonight....those darn men...they need to communicate and discuss things like this before they speak up. Like you said....he sleeps through it all. I am glad you will have Carrie there to help with the boys until they go to bed. I know you have your mom there as well and Carrie will help with her too. What a sweetheart Carrie is!
Judy....what a little soap opera you have around there. Always something going on. I feel bad for you. You are always putting out fires of some kind or another!! I pray today is a quieter day!
As for me....resting today. I took Kyleigh to run errands and grocery shop yesterday. Today I am worn out.

Hey Connie...This is Now Romper Room!!! Good Grief!!!!!!!!! Today the sun is out but so chilly out there!!! Rick steps outside and like a magnet...several tenants appear!!! He is pissed!!!!!!! Can't even enjoy his day off!!!!!!! He is close to exploding and yelling at each of them to get the "F" away from him!!!! YIKES!!!!!!! But I don't blame him...he needs alone time and he can't get away from them at all!!!!
I found a nice glider in the hardware ad for $99 said I would love to get it. So IF I get it I wonder if "I" will be able to sit on MY glider???????? I am also now thinking of getting a wicker blind to hang out there to BLOCK our sitting outside!!!! But would that REALLY help???????? I doubt it!!!!!!
