Tuesday Tax Day

Good Morning OFF Family,

I am still fighting my sinus infection.  Waiting for the antibiotic to kick in.  What makes it worse, sorry to be gross, is the yucky smelling green guck that drains right now.  Makes me nauseous.  

I have to mail my tax return to Michigan.  I e-filed my Federal return, because I'm due for a refund, which will go toward my past tax bills.  

I pick up Lincoln from preschool in an hour.  Must jump in the shower, and get going.

Hi Trish and Vickie, and my OFF family to come:

The rain has passed and I feel much better. No headache, very few body aches. Didn't sleep all that well yet, but still ... I feel human again. The evil elf has quit stabbing giant needles in knees. Sorry to complain so much about my body aches (my friend Roxane won't listen to my aches and pains problems ... she has to listen to her hubby's woes so we've agreed not to talk about my problems). So I have no one to talk to about this. 

Sorry about your sinus infection, Trish. Those are nasty. I had one several years ago that gave me a headache that put me out for 2 weeks ... I couldn't do anything but recline. Anything else made me nauseous and dizzy.

Vickie, enjoy your trip. Try to rest in the car. 

I have nothing pressing for today. I have a load of laundry in the washer. May go out for awhile today ... watch baseball ... it's my weekend.

I didn't see this post so I started one. I just deleted mine.

Trish...that sinus infection sounds awful!! Are you going to an Ear, Nose and Throat clinic/specialist or just your regular doctor? I hope and pray you get relief soon!! 

Vickie....I hope you enjoy your trip. It will be nice for you to see your mom and probably Carrie too. Keep safe.  

Eileen....I am so happy that your pain is better!!!    You deserve a good day!! 

As for me....I went to the Post Office to mail some things and get some stamps. I then went to the drug store and got a couple RXs...one is a muscle relaxer....I took it and I am now really drowsy. It always effects me this way. My doctor has also reduced the Gabapentin. I see her on Thursday morning. Something has to change as I can't take Gabapentin anymore. My hands jerk, my thinking is a mess, weight gain, much more fatigued,  fevers off and on, and so much more muscle pain and spasms.  It sucks getting old!!

Enough of my whining. I am just going to relax and watch some movies. I will probably fall asleep!!

Connie, that's why I cut back on the Gabapentin. I was up to 900mg and felt it had an effect on my memory. My doc cut me back to 600mg and I feel better. He upped my topiramate (used as a migraine preventive) and that seems to work a little better. My PCP just told me to up the gabapentin again. I may try that to see if it helps with the current flare-up. I have an appointment with a rheumatologist but not until May 13. I was out for awhile and as soon as my legs were down and bent, I was in pain. Yeah, it sucks getting old. 

Good Evening all.  What a crazy day.  We had another 1-2 inch of SNOW on the ground today.  After 70 degrees yesterday.  Than Charter Cable went all digital today. I along with hundreds of others in the area had to pick up new boxes to put on thier TV's.  I found out even though I hadn't upgraded to HD they had did it to me.  That was why the bill had risen $20 a month.  But the good news is it doesn't cost any more for HD   Sounds like it cost more and we all got it shoved down out throats.  I got the new HD box to work on one TV but can't get the old one, which was and is suppose to still be working to work.

First they stop your free TV and now they have a strangle hold on us.

Than I couldn't find the hard copy from the insurance co approving the removal of extra skin on the inner thighs. The doc hasn't received a copy and won't even schedule an appointment until he gets it.  We have had the consult appointment approved for two weeks now.  The insurance won't e-mail or fax me or the surgeon a copy of the letter.  I run all the way over to get a hard copy and have to go thru, sorry it isn't approved and is still pending.  No, I got one letter saying it was approved they just needed to add codes and I got a copy saying they did.  Nope, oh I'll just call referral to shut you up (my words ) OH, it is approved, can you give me the codes to put in the letter, OH it is on another screen.  Good news (their words) it's approved and includes the code.  No crap isn't that what I said a half hour ago
