Peaceful Sunday
Hello sweet sistas!
It's almost time for sleep, but I wanted to pop on and check out the posts from the day. Oh, Connie, how wonderful that Carrie bought you a new TV. What a sweet thing for her to do for you. I'm sorry you didn't feel up to going out, but I am glad you're getting to see your family. That always cheers you up!
Twink, I'm glad your roommate is a good cook! It's always nice to get a homecooked meal when you don't have to do the cooking!
I had a very busy day. I tackled the 5th bedroom--the one that Chris and Mike were living in--and we literally shovelled the crap out of there! Butch helped me, but it was such a mess. We threw a bunch of stuff away. The rest of it we more or less boxed up and will take it to her house tomorrow.
Anyway, I now have clean sheets on all three guest beds and clean floors and everything is spiffy and ready for company. Each room has the basics in it--nothing fancy--but they're comfortable: Queen sized bed, luggage rack or low table, a dresser, a small chair, and some nightstands and lamps. Benny's room is still set up for him with his little toddler bed, but we plan to change it to another guest bedroom soon with another Queen sized bed. I'll leave the port-a-crib set up for Budder in one of the guest bedrooms.
I have run the wheels off Roomba this week, but I think I finally have most of the dog hair and "Christie hair" gone! Chris has long curly thick red hair that is everywhere! She sheds worse than the dogs! Tee hee! She and Carrie both do. They have been ruining my vacuum cleaners for decades now.
So, tomorrow I will tackle the bathrooms and the kitchen/dining area. And then I will be done. Ready for Easter company next weekend.
It sure does feel good to have a clean house again!
Well, I'm pooped and ready for bed. Time to take my pills and toddle off to dreamland. Love you all!
