Ouchy Monday!

Good morning sistas!

I am so miserable today!  This damn drain has got to go!  It pulled and pulled all last night.  I could barely get comfortable and sleep.  I told Butch he has to pull it out this morning.  I don't care if the doctor gets mad about it or not.  SHE should have to live with this thing in HER **** and then we'll see how stoic SHE is.

I finally got my closet finished yesterday.  LOVE IT!  I love organization, don't y'all?  Butch is slowly working on his closet, but he's not as obsessed with order as I am.  LOL!  I don't care as long as I don't have to share the same closet space with him.  I have all my shoes up off the floor and I don't have stumble around on top of his!

My weight was down again this morning!  I'm not going to record it until I see if it sticks.  Three days is my litmus test.  But I have to tell y'all, I really ready to try on some clothes and see what a difference a flat tummy makes!  (Right now I can't even stand to wear underwear with this damn drain, much less try on pants!)

Well, we didn't get our taxes done yesterday, so guess what's on the agenda for today?  Yeah, we're quite awful about doing them.  It's one of the few areas where we are BOTH procrastinators, which is not a good combination.  But we will try again today.

Hope everyone is doing well!  Love you all!

Post Scriptum:  It's OUT!  It's OUT! It's OUT!  Oh, happy day!  That damn drain is out of me, finally!  I have on underwear!  I have on stretchy capris!  I'm dressed like a normal human being again!  HOORAY!

And that reminds me of the time I worked in HR at the university for a year.  Oh, we had an absolute WITCH of a boss there.  Her name was even Glenda!  Everytime she had to be out of the office for a day, I would go around singing, "Ding, Dong, the witch is dead!"  Tee hee!

Judy, you funny lady!  You know I don't know popular music at all, but is that like "Who let the dogs out?"  I do know that one!

Well, I haven't tried on my regular zip front pants yet.  Still a bit too sore for that, but I have to assume they're going to fit better, right?  What I'm really eager to see is how well my bathing suit fits now!  That's the REAL test, huh?

Love ya!  (Did you see the horse I posted for you on FB?)

Good afternoon Vickie and everyone....

Vickie.....I am sooooo glad that drain out!! Ding Dong is right!! So was Butch the surgeon or was your surgeon the surgeon?? I am just relieved it is gone!! I have always hated drains!!

Glad you got your closet finished. Butch will eventually get his done. He probably has more pressing things to do like be outside...LOL!!

I a so jealous of your weight loss. You must look amazing!!

As for me...I went out today to get birthday cards and gifts for the three grandchildren whose birthdays are in April.  Kyleigh (8th) 22 tomorrow. Amanda (11th) 20 on Friday. Then Nic (23rd) will be 21!!!!!!! Praise God!!! I got Amanda's gift mailed  and hope she gets it by her birthday!

Now I am ready for a nap. I really need to have my doctor do something about these meds. I will post her a note tonight.

Praying all is well with everyone. I will check back in later.

Wishing you all a wonderful day!

Prayer for our amazing OFF family!!!

Much love and bunches of hugs to all......connie d

Hey Connie!  Oh, Butch was my surgeon for sure.  I am supposed to go see Dr. F tomorrow morning anyway, and she was going to take the tube out then, so I don't figure removing the drain one day early is all that big of a deal.  But let me tell you, my husband was super gentle with me and didn't hurt me one little bit!  He pulled 8 inches of tubing out of me and I didn't feel it all all.  Last week, when Dr. F pulled the 1st drain out, she HURT me!  And a few months back, when Dr. R pulled that other drain out of me, she HURT me!  You know what?  They don't have to hurt you at all.  Damn doctors.

Anyway, other than still being sore along the incision, I'm doing okay.  I'm ready to get healed up for good!

I hope you got some rest last night.  I was worried about you.  Be sure and let us know what your doctor says tomorrow, okay?  Love you!

Vickie....the only thing with Butch taking it out is if you get a infection or anything they will have to treat it as a new case if at all. At least that is the way it is here. That is considered against medical advice. Hope she is an understanding doctor. I wish you the best!!

I agree ....doctors just pull and don't do it very gentle either!

I hop[e I get some sleep tonight too!! Thanks for caring!

Love to you and hugs too....connie d
