Lol, you crack me up....reverse it. Lol

If you are in Canada you should be covered under their medical system. Ci would think they have surgeons who can do your follow up. You might want to get a copy of your medical records before you go. It might make a better continuity of care.

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding.

Lisa,

I had my RNY done in Houston, but have since moved to the San Antonio area.  For the past 2 checkups, I have been to see bariatric surgeon in SA.  Just have your current surgeon fax your records to the new doctor in Canada, and all should be well.

Hello Lisa....CONGRATULAIONS on your upcoming marriage!

It sounds like you and your fiance both have a good sense of humor. That sure helps!!

You shouldn't have a hard time finding a doctor. What area are you moving to in Canada?

Have a wonderful evening!

lisa i am having problems switching drs from From Denver to Florida. No one wants to take over care from another dr! I finally did find find a practice that would. I am having my records sent from Denver. I do fly to Denver sbout twice a year to see Dr Tillquist. But it is getting harder and very exspensive to it.

I am starting a back in track program with the new dr as soon as I get back to Florida in a few days.

Who is doing your surgery? I had my surgery in 2002 with Dr Tillquist at Sweedish Medical Center in Englewood. I lived in Centennial for twenty four years. Moved to Florida seven years ago.

Hi Lisa

You might check the AMSBS website and find a surgeon in your new are with the FOLL which means they are willing to follow other patients. I checked and it includes Canada.
