Happy Friday Ladies!!!
Hello All,
Well yesterday was a bust. It rained like hell here off and on all day. I decided to put some laundry in for wash and in the process twisted my back. It was not pretty, but manageable. I thought better of exercising so stayed home. Then late in the day, i helped Claire lift a box of papers and thought i would go over the moon with pain. I tried some stretching and heat to no avail. So since every move hurt, i took something for the pain.
Luckily i was better this morning and Claire and i met a friend in a near by town for her 77th birthday celebration. We had Chinese food that was at best mediocre. But the company was great. I am just glad the rain stopped long enough for us to go from the van to the restaurant and back. It poured buckets off and on as we drove to and from.
So, tomorrow i plan to go to the gym. Exercise is helping. I put a pair of pant on today that used to be tight at the least. Today i had to use a safety pin folded over about 4 inches in each side to keep them on...lol, what fun.
You guys make me smile every day.
Judy, i hope you don't have any flooding and your weekend stays calm. My sister and her husband have rental properties the manage and your comments sound so similar to hers.
Hope you all have a relaxing evening and Vickie, behave yourself and do not over do.
Here is to warmer clearer days.
Blessings
Francine
Francine....so sorry for your pain. Have you ever tried Bio Freeze? It helps me when the pain is bad. Pain meds and muscle relaxers work best!!! Happy 77th Birthday to your friend. I am sure you made her day! I will be praying for you!
I am glad you aren't pushing yourself to exercise. I did that and now I am worse then I was. I did a lot of walking here in the apartment complex. I went out to walk the next day and couldn't....just like that!! I am back to using my walker again.
Hope you have a restful evening!!
Love and hugs.....connie d
I think this is my first post in the OFF group. I am, after all, over 50 :) (chronologically that is!)
I live in Oregon and am really happy to be firmly on the loser's bench. I look forward to seeing how the rest of you handle the interesting things weight loss over 50 can bring.
So far, I am really happy with my surgery and I acknowledge I am only 2 1/2 weeks out.
Have a lovely weekend!
