Long night Monday morning

Good morning sistas!

I'm up early because I just couldn't lie in bed in the same position any longer.  I am not supposed to "stretch out" until my incision is healed.  That means I sleep on my back, but with my head and legs propped up on several pillows.  Might be good for my incision, but it's hell on my back.  Even when I sit or walk, I'm supposed to bend over and shuffle. 

Other than being uncomfortable though, the pain is quite manageable.  She gave me an Rx for Tylenol 3 with instructions to take 2 every 6 hours.  What?  I don't need nearly that much.  I've been taking 1 every six hours and I'll continue that today, but then I doubt I'll need more.  That's good, because then I'll have a small supply of Tylenol 3 to keep here at the house.  I'm under strict orders, since the discovery of VW disease, to never ever take another NSAID again.  Bye-bye Advil!

Som Chris and Mike did their best, but they ended up spending the night here last night anyway.  They did get their furniture moved yesterday, but by the time they got back here last night (after returning the Uhaul truck), it was nearly 11 p.m.  They were just so exhausted.  It would have been another hour before they could have returned to their new home and then they would have had to settle the boys in their new beds in their new rooms.  It just had disastrous night written all over it.  Better they should have spent the night here and get up and go again this morning.

Today I have to call and make my follow up appointments with the PS (for tomorrow) and with the hematologist, but that's it.  I'm taking it plenty easy, don't worry.  Tomorrow I get to see my new belly button.  I just can't imagine where my old one went and what my new one looks like!

I tried to post something and it went to cyber space! Vickie you will live your new look! I loved mine! And still do!

I had Vinnie all to myself yesterday! We went on a play date cover to my neices house. We took my daughters car cause the car seat was in there!

Jo if u read this and Trish I may come to Michigan Monday near Lansing. I have to see what is going on.

Today we are going thrifting! I'm not sure what I'm getting but we shall see!

Ok, what the heck did I miss?!? What kind of surgery did you have Vickie? I hope all is well. 

I'm just trying to keep up with Krissy getting ready for senior prom and Michael finishing up spring break wow what a crazy life. Think about you all every day, sorry I don't get the time to stop in and say hi as much as I would like.

Hi All: tried posting twice yesterday from my iPad ( as I usually do) and both times sent off into cyberspace.  I gave up. Was tired from a houseguest who must have been bored staying with me the last few days,  although we did get out for a drive and a few meals in restaurants, but didnt make a movie as I needed a nap! Also the weather was cold and snowy, so we slapped some meals together at home as didnt feel much like cooking and had planned on going out more than we did. We yacked a lot so that was good,  and drank wine while planning on some holidays together over the next 2-3 years. I have about 2 years to plan,  save, and lose weight if our discussions on where our bucket lists overlap come to fruition. 

Vickie, hope you get progressively better, maybe in retrospect sleeping and resting in a lazyboy first nights at home might be recommended  instead of your uncomfy position in bed?

May everyone have a good day thanks to our wls making us more active, and for those waiting for surgery, believe me it is so worth it!

Oh Crap!!!!!! CRS again!!!!!!!!!!!!! Damit!!!!!!!

Well our new man is doing FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!! Love him!!!!!!!!! Hope he keeps it up!!!! The "kid" showed up today for his check!!! OMG told him they were not here yet which his other one wasn't!!! Told him I would CALL him when the mail came!!! Did he wait? NO!!!!!!!! He shows up just minutes before the mailman came and hovered by me like a Knat!!!!!! Thank GOD his check was here and I gave both of them to him and said here ya go and he took them and left!!!!!!!!!!!! Good Bye kid!!!!!!!!!!!! I see him again it will be way too soon!!!!!!!!

Anyhow the weather here today is now at 61* WOOOOHOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!! That crappy white stuff is almost gone!!!!!!!

Bought a new BBQ grill today and can't wait to use it!! This one is a charcoal one. I want my food with FLAVOR again!!!!!!!!!!!!  The propane grill is ok but I want my charcoal one again!!! Got a great buy on this one at Menards!!! $65.00!!!

Well time for Bandit to go potty walking then off to FB and play my games!!!
