Happy Wednesday

Evening OFF family!!! Sorry for being missing so long!!! Just been busy and then when I get a chance just tired out!!!!! The "kid" has been ******g me off big time and Rick should have fired his ass yesterday but didn't!!! Oh I was mad as hell and we got into it big time!!!! Friday will be his last day IF he lasts that long!!!!!!! Yesterday Rick told him to go back to the apartment to take more stuff and bag it up and out to the dumpster...he SLAMMED out of the office!!!!! OMG!!!!!!!! I told Rick to go fire him right then!!!!! But Rick said he wanted him to keep cleaning that nasty apartment out yet...sighs. Anyhow...about 10 minutes later this guy walks in and asks for an application. I gave it to him and he asks if he could fill it out and bring it back after he picks up his kid at the bus...sure!! I got GOOD VIBES!!!! I said to myself if he comes back and his application is as good as those vibes were...he is the one we hire!!!!!!!! He came back and his application was GREAT!!!!!!!!! I am talking to him and here comes the "kid" and I told this guy to act like he is looking for an apartment. OK...so we are talking about apartments..."kid" has no clue...LOL he turns in the keys and leaves...I call Rick to come and talk to this guy. He comes in and meets him and we all talk. Rick is as excited as I am with him!!!! This guy is 40 and has a family, lives a few blocks from here and knows every aspect of the job and then some!!!!! He is giving notice at his job today and will start Monday morning here. The job he is leaving involves traveling and he wants to be home with his family. He is as excited as we are!!!! I called my boss and told her we hired him and she asked where he came from...I said I think GOD sent him!!!! So now hopefully we are set with a guy that will work and love it here as much as we do!!!!! So come Friday a 4pm (IF the "kid" lasts that long) its GOOD BYE MR ATTITUDE!!!!!!! And don't let the door hit you where he good Lord split you!!!!!

OMG it is going on 7pm already and we haven't had supper yet!!! It has been just one thing after another...sighs.

I feel like Carla is probably posting right this minute, but I'll try and start the thread today anyway.

Today is kinda rainy and cool, but it's supposed to warm up and be a beautiful weekend.  I'm glad because it will make the kids' move easier.  I hope!  Chris is a little upset because Butch and I won't be available for babysitting this weekend.  I'm sorry for it, too, but I can't help when I'm having surgery on Friday.  The PS is a visiting PS; she doesn't have an office here.  I have to work with her schedule.  Besides if I'm going to have another surgery, I need to have it done quickly, so it doesn't mess up our vacation.

I need to spend the next two days doing laundry and grocery shopping and making sure the checkbook is all up to date and ready for the 1st next week.  All that lovely pre-surgery stuff. 

Not much else going on around here today.  Piney, I'm so sorry you're disappointed in the results of your neck/face lift!  Wow, what a bummer.  Can't the docs do something later on to fix that one side?  I have a neck waddle, too, but it will just have to be.  Butch says I'm beautiful, and that will have to be enough for me.  I would like to have my eyelids lifted!  Who knew my eyelids would fall down?  I think that makes me look older than anything else.

By the way, the desmopressin (medicine for the VW disease) worked great!  My numbers jumped up through the roof.  Now I just have to figure out if desmopressin is available around the world, or if it is hard to get, especially in a little country like Belize.

Well, laundry waits for no man, right?  Time to strip the sheets and start washing.  Love you all!

Vickie the PS said he won't touch my face even with the desmopressin (DDAVP) (I included both names as I hadn't heard any one call it desmopressin until you posted it.  All the hemos and doctors here I work with use the initials.  Most likely a regional thing!  Like Catsup and Ketchup.  So when trying to get it you can ask by both names now.)as it is the bloodiest PS according to the PS and hematologist.  I don't think I can get another PS to do it as the original was done by someone else.  The PS is willing to do the inner thigh with DDAVP as long as I agree to stay in the hospital.  If the insurance won't consider it necessary, I don't think I could afford that.  The bills are still coming in on the emergency bleed and are well over 30K.  I just feel blessed that they are agreeing to pay as it was life threaten even if was cause by a PS complication.  They just OK'ed another $515 that they didn't agree to at first, they must have coded it different this time.

I have a doctor appointment with the PCP to see if there is a chance we can get it thru.  I too would like other face work done.  But, with the bleeding disorder I set my priorities in case something went work and I couldn't get more.  My thighs are the worst but I could hide them in jeans.  The waddle everybody could see and aged my like crazy.  Now it just looks like I'm overweight.  Funny thing is before I had it done I looked a lot thinner but older.  At least I look a little younger now.

Enough of that!  I understand trying to get all those ends tied before surgery.  Good luck with all those errands.

My oldest grand son is now old enough to watch the little guy.  The parents think it easier to leave them than bring them over anymore.  I really miss him.  It is so much different when you raise them as much as the parents.
