I am back.  I hope everyone is having a blessed day.  I know I am.

We got around five inches of snow, and I had trouble getting of my driveway this morning.   Colleen needed me to watch the boys after lunch.  Izzy has a play date, since schools are closed, again.  

As soon as my pain pill takes effect, I'm going to get some shoveling done.  Must get the bottom of my driveway cleaner.  I got stuck this morning, and must get it 

Must scoot.

Hi Trish and my OFF family:

I wondered about that, too. I know I'm not as diligent about posting lately. I read every day but don't post a lot. But I'm off today and other than doing laundry, not doing a lot. 

It was a gorgeous day yesterday ... in the 70s, started out sunny. But by 5 p.m., it was clouding up. I took my former boss to his doctor's appointment and then after that, we went out to eat. It was nearly 5:30  when I got home. He has gotten some nibbles on his job search, which makes me happy (and him, too, of course). Came home and didn't do much after that. Today, I started out with stripping the bed and I'm washing everything from the bottom up (mattress pad, sheets, comforter ... so I can put it on in the right order). Then it's the usual laundry. 

Temps went down to 40 today and it's very windy. Supposed to get rain, then snow. I will have to get out of my jammies eventually so I can wash them. 

I have such a fascinating life ... not! Watching some basketball now and probably will watch some DVR'd shows or a movie tonight.

Not much new here - waiting for a call from the insurance company's equipment supplier so I can get my machine. Surgeon's office called again for the status so they can move forward.  Getting anxious!

Hi everyone!

Butch is cooking supper tonight, Benny is napping, and Mike is taking care of Budder.  I have FREE TIME!  Whoo hoo!

We had a busy day, although it was supposed to be an easy one.  Benny has been coughing constantly for 2 weeks and I finally told Chris she just had to take him to the doctor.  She called this morning, but they couldn't see him until 11:30, and she had to be at work by 1:00 p.m., so I took him instead.  Doc said nothing major wrong like bronchitis or anything.  Gave us some Rx cough syrup and it knocked Benny out! 

I got the new blinds ordered for the rent house today.  Chris agreed with me that they should all be the same throughout the house (I know--pigs are flying--Chris and I actually agreed on something!), and she picked cherry wood color.  These are faux wood blinds, not real wood.  I'm not that crazy to pay for real wood blinds for a rent house with little people!  I think they will look really nice.

Chris has started posting pictures on FB of the rooms she's painted.  I tagged myself in them, so y'all can see all the crazy colors!  I also posted some outside pics of the new house on FB.  For our new sistas, I'm Vickie Gibson Poe on FB.  Feel free to friend me there.

I think I'll spend the next half hour until supper playing Candy Crush.  I feel so self-indulgent!  It's great!

Hi All my OFF partners, 

Having a slow. Day today. Woke with a horrible back ache. I am trying to stay off the NSAIDs. All the studies show they are the best OTC treatment for back pain. I think the weather had a lot to do with it. I decided they should have the roads cleared by noon tomorrow so i decided to stay in today and go out tomorrow to exercise. 

We had rain this morning then sleet then ice now snow. I will be glad when the weather breaks for good. 

I am glad to hear from you all and read your post. I thought you all had taken the day off. Lol.
