Good morning my friends we spring ahead today and Spring is just around  the big snow bank

Not to much going on today some wash go out to lunch at the cheesecake factory yummmmmmmmm and then to the book store

Good morning.  Up early with the time change.  We're going to visit my MIL today and try to stay dry in the deluge of rain we've had.  Hope all is well with everyone.

Cindy, hope you had a good visit with your MIL...

Judy, we just got back from our visit.  She is not doing well at all.  She has congestive heart failure and a bad aortic valve.  She's literally gasping for air.  The dr. has tried many different doses of the diuretic she's on to get rid of fluid and had a chest x-ray done and they are waiting for the results.  If it were up to me, I'd take her to the hospital.  I know she doesn't want that but she's not even comfortable at this point.  She's not sleeping at night and won't really nap during the day.  On top of everything, she seems to have anxiety (no wonder she does -- she can't really catch her breath).  I'm really upset.  I think her time is near.  If she's going to suffer like this, I hope it's quick. Sorry, I don't mean to go on and on but I have to say this stuff "out loud" or I'll go nuts.  Getting old isn't for sissies.

Cindy...you are right your MIL needs to be in the hospital. I think she is afraid to sleep thus the anxiety. She probably also feels that being in the hospital will feel more like the end. If she is gasping for air someone needs to made an executive decision and have her taken there. She certainly will be able to  breathe so much easier. I do believe the end is near. Does she have a priest or minister that could come an speak with her??

If that won't work tell her Hospise will be coming to her. She will go to the hospital over that choice!! 

I watched my FIL die from lung disease. They struggle so hard to breathe and just wear their heart out. I can still hear his gasping, jerking and rattling and that was at least 30 years ago!

I will continue to pray for her and all her family. God Bless.

Morning OFF family!!  I got to sleep in today til 10 am!!!!!!!!!! WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Only reason I got to do that is because we had a little snow last night so the guys had to put some salt down this morning so I didn't have to getup to open!!!  

Went to bingo last night had a few chances but no wins...  oh well I can't win all the time can I? Carol that lives behind us went along and let me tell you this woman's mouth went non stop!!      Woman that sat across from her said she needed this one number for a bingo and I looked on my card to see if it was called and it WAS but you couldn't get a word in edgewise so I didn't tell her...if they can't pay attention to the numbers called I figure it is THEIR loss not mine!!!! I had no idea who this woman was anyhow...  then when it came time for the jackpot Carol asked me how come I wasn't playing a lot of cards. I told her it was because I can't hear the numbers good!!! I think they got the idea THEY were LOUD???????  

Anyhow today I am relaxing HOPEFULLY and watching the NASCAR race. Michael made me some APPLEPIE to drink...YUMMMMMMMMMMM  !!!!!!!!!!! Well Rick is done salting walks so time for me to make him some breakfast now. Bacon and eggs.  

Aren't you all glad my smilies work again?? I know I AM!!!

Good  morning Maryann and everyone......

Maryann....I set my clocks ahead last night early so I wouldn't forget. I hope Spring is soon!!  We have a lot of snow banks to melt!! 

I need to do a small load of laundry as I want everything caught up before I leave Tuesday. I will start leaving out clothes to pack too. I am so excited!!! 

I hope to rest up some yet today. Still recovering from that Fibro Flare up. I was in bed most of yesterday and the day before. That was one of the worst flare ups I have had in a long time. It has drained me!!!

Cindy...nice to see you here today. Have a nice visit with your MIL. How is she doing? Still praying for her.

Judy...sorry you didn't win at Bingo. Also sorry you had to deal with those two loud talkers!! How wonderful that you had the chance to sleep in today. If anyone needed that you did!! Enjoy your Apple Pie...that is awesome stuff!!

Vickie....Hope you aren't overdoing it at the new house. I am sure you are enjoying Carrie there. 

Trish...I hope your grandchildren are all feeling better now. Sorry you had to leave the zoo early. I hope you got some rest. How is your headache today?

Mary...keeping jumping through the WLS hoops. You will be having your surgery soon!!

Connie I am excited for you!!! I sure miss my kids and grands!!! I love seeing them on FB and all but not the same ya know? They posted a new picture of them with a frog at the mall so I shared that one so you can see both of them...gosh they are both so pretty!! Sad that the oldest one looks like her mom...  hope she doesn't turn out like she is!!! So far she isn't like her at all!!!

Good morning Maryann and all my lovely sistas!

Oh, I have had the best time playing dress up with Carrie this morning!  We both love to try on clothes and we spent a good hour this morning trying on mix and match bathing suit tops and bottoms.  She had ordered new bathing suit pieces from Land's End and so had I.  I have re-ordered several more pieces and will decide what to keep and what to return.  When we go to Waco next time, I can return all the unwanted pieces to the Sears there.

We were supposed to have a beautiful weekend, but it has turned off rainy and cold.  Really nasty weather.  Yuk.  I wanted us to take the boys to the zoo today while Chris and Mike are painting at the new house, but that's not happening.  Carrie want she and I to go to the Outlet Mall, and I would be willing to do that if we can do it without the boys.  Have to see if Butch will agree to babysit.

One thing I am NOT doing is going to the new house to watch Chris and Mike paint.  OMG, girls.  You should see the colors she is picking out for the house.  It's going to look like the inside of a circus tent!  NOBODY likes these colors but Christie.  Even Carrie said they were atrocious.  She's picked out a bright ORANGE color for the main rooms downstairs.  I tried to tell her to use the orange as an accent color and paint the majority of the walls something a little more neutral, but you know how Chris is.  If I say "white", she says "black". 

Then she was painting a sample on the bedroom wall upstairs (she's picked out navy blue for her bedroom--really???) and damn if she didn't drop a big blob of it right on the newly cleaned carpeting!  AARRGGHH!  That kid will be the death of me.  Really she will.  I'm moving to Belize! 

I know it's DST, but I haven't moved any of my clocks yet!  LOL!  I'm pretending I didn't lose an hour yet.

Vic wait til she sees how those colors make the house feel HOTTER than it really is!!!!!!!!! OMG!!!!!!!!!! LOL you just MIGHT have to move just to keep your peace of mind!!!!!! OMG!!!!!!! Maybe you should have agreed to her colors so she would have picked cooler ones????? I think she is crazy picking those colors but who am I????? She will regret it later I am sure!!!!!

As for the swim suits...I have a hot pink one that OMG I am afraid to wear...LMAOOOOOOOOO If we went to a place where NOBODY would EVER see me again MAYBE I would wear it....LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO but with all my saggy skin...Rick says I look good...Yeah whatever...not in MY book!!!!! LOL
