KEEPING POSITIVE EVEN WITH SLOW PROGRESS
Hi,
Hope you don't mind me weighing in...no pun intended!! lol I had rny in Aug of 2012 and have lost 99lbs. I wanted so bad to one of those that lost 80 lbs in a couple of months but I wasn't and now I'm so glad that didn't happen to me. Why you ask or maybe not, when you lose the weight slowly you have a better chance of keeping it off, your body has a chance to adjust and you don't have as much lose skin. All in all it's what your body is going to do so just go with it and don't stress. I have arthritis in my back and can't do a lot of exercises so do what you can, watch what you eat, measure yourself because during a stall you might not lose weight but you'll be surprised at how many inches you will loses. Hang in there it's a wild ride but it does work. Big hugs, Debbie
WOW, it is time to change the clocks for DST already. Spring forward!!! I am having a good day so far. Going to head out to gym in a bit. Needed to get my coffee in first.
Yesterday spent time with my roommate, who went for her third follow up ultra sound of her thyroid. She had a scare last year with, what we now know to be a benign nodule. We have been friends and off and on roommates for over 35 years. She hates traditional medicine, so getting her to do anything along that line is like pulling hens teeth. She does better if i go along for support.
Today is a bright sunny day and most of the snow has melted. So, I' m off. Will write more later.
