Where was your port-of-call in Belize?  I know there is a lot of crime in Belize City and Belmopan, but hadn't heard about the more outlying rural areas.

I am almost certain we pulled into Belize City, Belize.  Than we met a bus, which we had set up in advance which took us out to the "parks" where the zip lines and caves are.
