I hope that you return to complete heath soon.  I'm sorry you had to leave your beloved Maui for health reasons but being around family and old friends should be a good thing.  Know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Hey Karen; I don't know if you'll remember me. I used to be on the OFF forum years ago when I was first researching WLS. It was a good group but after many years out from surgery, people eventually disappear and it's understandable. Imagine my surprise when I saw your post! I had intended to visit you in person at one time, because I live on the island to the west of Maui, but it never happened. You were in Maalaea, right? You still live in beautiful country. I just came to this site after many years away(I didn't realize how long it had been until I saw the year 2006, what a shock!) and it has changed so much so I was really pleased to see someone that was familiar. Glad to hear you are doing well.
