Sunday Blessings

Good Afternoon Family,

I just got home from church, with a stop at the IGA on the way home.  I was only supposed to be in Nursery for Sunday School, but Franklin saw me first hour, and the other woman who was supposed to be there didn't make it.  Plus, Cousin Livie was out of sorts still, so I was there all morning, doing lap time with both of them.  

After I make a double batch of beef stew, I may head to the YMCA, to get some cardio in.  I need to get started there.  I was originally supposed to start the Friday morning Jessi got sick, but that didn't happen, which I don't mind.  But, now, it's time to get started.  

At the zoo, yesterday, I got a great walk in.  I need to keep it up.

Trish....sounds like you already had a busy morning going.

Good for you joining the YMCA. I get a free pass there but it is way far across town from me. My car is more a sporty car....bigger engine...it gets lousy in town gas mileage ....on the highway it is awesome! What I would spend in gas I just couldn't afford. There is an exercise class here. Not much but better then nothing. I really need to get my walking kicked in high gear again. There are plenty of halls to walk!! Hopefully by "MAY" I can walk outside!!

I am definitely feeling better. Gracie and Lucas are feeling great too. Thank you all for the good thoughts and prayers.

My granddaughter, Kyleigh called and asked if I would take her shopping for groceries. I need to eat a little before we go or otherwise I will be too tempted to buy things I don't need!

Dr Judy...you sure did give me a few wake up posts this morning. I am still smiling!! Just what the doctor ordered!

Wishing you all a beautiful day!! The sun is shining brightly!! Who cares if it is only 13 degrees it was 2 earlier!! High today of 18. I need to get out and enjoy the warmer weather...seriously!

Afternoon OFF family...OMG its been snowing here AGAIN and people out and about and we had some falls...good grief!!!!!!! One we had to call the squad for...a nurse aid...think she was just shook up...when the squad got here he got out and he slipped and went down also...OMG!!!!! The parking lot was dry before this snow came AGAIN!!!! WTH???????? He said whoever manages this place needs to get some salt down soon...hello....the guys are out trying to do it already!!!!!! People keep getting in their way and falling!!! It had just started and turned slippery from cars driving over it!!!! My head hurts...what are we supposed to do twitch our nose and make it disappear? Sighs.

Got my laundry done FINALLY this morning!!! Made a few people mad because I used ALL four machines...LOL ask me if I care...NO I DO NOT!!! I have tried doing our laundry for two weeks now and today I got lucky!!!! These people do not work...I do. I do not want to do my laundry after we lock up...I want to relax like normal people do after they get home. How do you like me now...I know mean woman huh. Still have to make the bed as I washed all the bedding.

Watched NASCAR last night and have it on now...getting excited for it to actually start. We already bought our tickets for the Michigan race in June. Front row seats again like we had last year....can't wait!!! This time we will leave extra early so we can see things!! Maybe take the grill and tail gate also. :-) Any ideas on how to keep the propane cool enough in the trunk?

Our new guy is working out great!!! Rick called him in today and boy he came in right away!! Made it in faster than Jason did even when he lived onsite!!! LOL Think we are really going to like this guy!!!!

Well best get going and make the bed...blah!!! Not sure what I hate more making it or taking it apart!!!

Good evening sistas!

Bringing up the rear tonight.  Butch and I just got back from our big "date" night.  Ha!  Chris and Mike hired a babysitter so that they could have a date night, so Butch and I decided that we would go out to eat also.  There's a very nice little Italian restaurant out here at the lake, so we thought we would go there.  We got there and they said it would be an HOUR'S wait for a table.  Well, that was too long to wait, so we ended up riding around looking for some place to eat and we wound up at Pizza Hut!  Wow, what a great date.  LOL!

We did go to the new house this morning and Butch and the realtor went over everything and we came up with a list of "must fixes" for the seller.  Not everything on the list that the inspector came up with, but the major things.  Now we have to wait and see what she says.  She can either fix the items or reduce the price so that we can fix them.  It is going to be interesting this week.

I got in trouble today with the leftover Valentine's candy.  I thought I could just eat one piece of chocolate.  WRONG.  I knew better.  I should never have put the first bite in my mouth.  Will I ever learn?

So, hope everyone is ready for the coming week.  We're going to be having warm temps again, and hopefully we're about through with Old Man Winter down here.  I've been wearing sandals and short sleeves and it sure does feel good to get into lighter clothes again.  I am not a winter gal.
