Happy Friday Everyone!
Good morning everyone....
I am at my daughter's and am so busy with my grandson I just never seem to get back to answer everyone so I hate to start the thread. I will do my best to answer all replies.
Lucas is running a fever this morning and not feeling well. I kept him home from school today. We both went to bed early last night.
Not much else planned for the day. Just resting and relaxing together!!
Wishing you all a great day!!
Prayers for many of our OFF family. Judy's nephew and Trish's family as well.
Love and oodles of hugs to all...connie d
Hi Connie, and OFF,
My heart is heavy. Still no word from Colleen and Trent, other than pray for a miracle. Someone from church said they saw something on Facebook but, I don't know how accurate that is. Last word from college was that she was at Jessie's house, watching the baby, so her mother-in-law could go to the hospital. Please just keep praying.
I was was supposed to go to the YMCA to start a water exercise class this morning. Tomorrow, I'm supposed to start my training at the zoo. If Colleen needs me, I'll start my training Tuesday and Thursday evening, and then pick up next Saturday. I'll wait to see what's going on when she gets home tonight.
She texted me to say she'd be late tonight, and apologized. I told her there's no need to apologize, and that I'm grateful I can be here to help.
I took the kids to Rite Aid, to pick up an Rx. Then we picked up take out Chinese for lunch. I'm ordering pizza to be delivered for supper. After I was out, Colleen texted that I should call one of the girls from church to watch the kids, so I could let Utley go potty. So, I called one of the pastors wives. She had already called me this morning to see if I needed help with the kids. She came over, and I went home, let puppy out, and grabbed some stuff I needed.
Hugs,
Trish

Hello sweet sistas!
Busy, busy day here. Just now had time to sit and get on the computer. Trish, I am praying for your family and you. Connie, so glad you are having a good time visiting your family! Don't overdo it, kiddo! Jennifer, still praying daily for you too. I know you are facing a big ordeal.
I had a big day. Went down to the courthouse and did a title search on a foreclosure house that goes up for auction on Monday. There don't appear to be any problems with the title. Now I need to get on-line tonight and make sure the owners are current on their property taxes. If it all checks out, we will probably put in a low bid on Monday and see what happens. The auction is open for 3 days. Should be interesting.
We are also meeting our realtor at 10 a.m. to look at a couple more houses, one in New Braunfels and one in Schertz. This is a slow process, I tell you.
Went to the wound care center this afternoon and got another cautiously optimistic report. The wound is still closing, but very slowly up from the bottom. The top and sides are almost closed, but they don't want that. It needs to heal from the bottom up. Dr. said next week he will do some debridement from the top and sides to give the bottom time to catch up. Joy. But no wound vac, so I guess that's a good thing.
Chris is working late tonight, but Mike is on his way home, so Butch and I will not have a late night babysitting. That's good. I need to start some laundry tonight. Tomorrow I have to get all our clothes ready for South Padre. I've got quite a list of things to take to the RV. It's going to be so nice to get away, but as always with vacations, a whole lot of work to get ready.
I am driving more and more these days. I almost feel normal again. I'll be glad to get my energizer bunny back again!
Love you all!
